I love blueberries, but have never found a great recipe for a blueberry vape; what do you love? Simple or complicated, it doesn't matter!

Just finished a bottle of this yesterday...

Custard (INW) 6%
Blueberry Extra (TFA) 5%
Blueberry (CAP) 2.5%
Sweetener (Sucralose) 1%

Sometimes, I'll drop the Blueberry (CAP) .5 - 1% & add a little Cinnamon Danish Swirl (CAP) or Coconut Candy (TFA) to spice it up. I usually let this one age 3-4 weeks... YMMV. :D

I've never mixed INW Custard with blueberry. Trying this subbing CAP Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble for your CAP blueberry at 2%.

I don't love blueberry flavors, but I do like them, and this is the recipe I currently like the most:

CAP Vanilla Custard V1 10%
TFA Blueberry Wild 5%
CAP Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble 2%
TFA Bavarian Cream 3%

Nice recipe, sounds good. I'll have to give it a try... :D My two favorite custards are INW Custard & CAP VC v1. I vape them standalone about 30 - 40% of the time. INW @ 6%, CAP @ 10%. I love sweet juices so I do add 1% TFA Sweetener (Sucralose) to almost everything. :) I generally use the CAP VC v1 for lighter fruits & sweet bakery & the INW for darker fruit & savory bakery with good results. YMMV... Hopefully your modified version of my recipe will be good. I think it will. :thumb:

It's funny, my adv's are also my most simple mixes. I alternate between CAP VC1 12%, TFA VBIC 10%, INW Custard 8%. I'd estimate about half of what I vape is one of those single flavors. I have bottles of them everywhere, in my backpack, on my desk at work, in my car, by my bed. I like to randomly pour them on top of each other when my tank is 1/4 full. Sometimes I top off the tank with a few drops of TFA Caramel, Butterscotch, or whatever other momentary urge grabs me. Actually, that's how I get a lot of ideas for new recipes.

I really enjoy playing around with mixes, but if I were banished to a desert island I'd be able to get by quite nicely with just those three flavors. :)

Same here, I find for my tastes, simple can be quite satisfying... :D

Some blueberry flavors I've ordered have come in, so I'm slowly checking out some recipes here, and ones I've noted in the last year or so, and wanted to mention this one I mixed today, called "Blue Unicorn" by HarrySmooth at ELR:

8.5% Blueberry (CAP)
1.5% Butter Cream (CAP)
0.5% Graham Cracker v1 (CAP)
0.5% New York Cheesecake (CAP)
1.5% Sweet Cream (CAP)
1% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (CAP)
3% Vanilla Custard v1 (CAP)

Somehow it turned out that I have all these flavors now (except my CAP Graham Cracker is v2), so I made up a small sample, and though the mixer said he was giving it a 2-week steep, I'm finding it really good as a shake and vape (with a 50/50 pg/vg base), and will be curious if steeping makes it better, or if the blueberry fades with aging.

Anyway, with only early results in, I'm calling this one a winner. Depending on how it progresses, either I will end up making bigger batches for steeping, or continue with small batches that are just for S&V.

I'll update as I find others that stand out to me particularly!

I now have three out of four of those blueberries! :p

Let me guess the one you don't have is the FA bilberry?
I never tried it with out it, but I bet it would still be good if you didn't have it. Once I made this one, I didn't try any more with blueberry, although a blueberry muffin would be one that would change that. :)

Actually, I just got FA Bilberry! I don't have TFA Blueberry Candy, though.

And to be honest, I'm not 100% sure I have TFA Blueberry Extra. I have a TFA Blueberry from a local Greek seller that I think is Blueberry Extra*. Anyway, it's pretty good and I'll use that one up in my blueberry recipe quest before ordering a for-sure Blueberry Extra. :)

* they are a sanctioned reseller, but often if the retailer uses Greek instead of English for the labeling it can be confusing with similarly named flavors

Yeah I would say it is most likely blueberry extra, when I was buying my flavors, I don't think there was one just called blueberry. I like to mix various versions and brands of a flavor together in a mix, to try to come up with a more realistic flavor. I think the TFA blueberry candy does contribute to this mix, but it might just add a bit of sweetness, it is only 1% anyway. Also the cupcake is also a sweet one, so the candy could be just lift out. I just never tried to change anything, I like it how it is. :|

Mixed this on Jul. 10, trying it now. Read your suggestions, and so subbed the CAP Blueberry with CAP Blueberry Cinnamon Crumble at 2%, and also CAP Super Sweet at 0.50%. It hasn't converted me to a blueberry vape lover, and I will probably never be one of those based on current artificial blueberry flavoring offerings (artificial blueberry is far from my favorite flavor), but I must say I really like what the INW Custard does in this. Thanks again for posting it.

FA Billberry is a strange one for me. It has a certain musty odor that I really can't stand, but I like its flavor. I can always smell that odor even when using it at small %s, but it seems to dissipate after sitting awhile. I've just mixed your recipe, it'll be sitting a good 2 weeks before I can try it though. Very "malodorous" for me at the moment. :)

I think 2 weeks should be good, it has been a while sense I mixed up a new batch, so I don't remember how long I steeped it in the past. I think you will be the first one other than myself to ever try this. I had to google that malo word, never heard that one before. I hope it will change for the better, it was an ADV for me for a while, but now it is every once in a while. I guess if you end up liking it, or hating it let me know. :|

Thanks

I found one on another site posted by Howard Hughes that uses FA, CAP & TFA blueberry flavors, along with several peach & raspberries. I've made it twice now & it's pretty good.

1% FA Berryl
1% FA Bilberry
2% CAP Blueberry
2% TFA Blueberry Wild
4% CAP Juicy Peach
2% TFA Marshmallow
1% FA Peach
1% FLV Peach
.5% INW Raspberry
3% TFA Raspberry (Sweet)
.75% TFA Sour

There's a combination of Blueberries that I think is generally pretty good that I think is due to EdibleMalfunction from Reddit. His original proportions were:

TFA Blueberry Extra 3.0 %
FW Blueberry 2.0 %
FA Bilberry 0.5 %

I mixed this a little while ago. It was a first try, and I want to modify it some, but it's pretty good as mixed, I think:

FA Bilberry 1%
FW Blueberry 4%
FA Cream Fresh 2%
FA Custard 4%
FA Lemon Sicily 0.5%
FA Zeppola 4%

I'd pull the FW Blueberry and Zeppola down a bit, at least (and def pull the Bilberry down if you find it too musty- I kind of like that aspect of it, tbh.) I might use a bit more Lemon Sicily, or another Lemon, and I think this could benefit from halving the FA Fresh Cream and using 1% FA Vienna Cream. Need to find some time to play with this though.

(Updating because someone was looking at Blueberry recipes and wishing for more reviews/updates)

I ended up making a nice big bottle of Blue Unicorn because I liked it so much I used up the tester pretty quickly, so I haven't been trying more recipes yet. One or two good blueberry juices at a time are all I can handle without them sitting around for too long, and I have Capella Blueberry Jam single flavor mixed at 8% (husband's current fave juice) and this Blue Unicorn going, plus I bought a recipe from HIC for a Blueberry-Coconut Smoothie, but I need a couple of flavors before I can try that one.
