Faults present after the hosting move

There are numerous faults still present in the forum operation as a result of everything having been changed (hosting, servers, server cluster organisation, webserver apps, satellite site organisation, new tech staff, etc.).

ECF is now a portal site rather than just a forum, with several discrete sections, and the operation of these is currently negatively affecting the forum operation. The technical staff are working on these issues but cannot be expected, in a few days, to get to the position equivalent to several years of fine-tuning that we were previously at.

The issues will be gradually eliminated over a period of time. We hope the main faults will go fairly soon. I am confident that most will be solved by next week, which counts as good progress considering the nature of the site now. The site move has not been completed optimally, but it has been done well enough considering the rather sudden move that we decided on.
