Hey, I just received the sentinel m16 from fasttech, and am having a problem with airflow. When i put my vivi nova on it, it sits flush with the top cap so it doesnt allow air to come through. Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this? Also, Ive heard some things about the center pin being adjustable so that the atty sits higher up, however cannot seem to figure that out.
Thanks ahead of time.

Most mechs will not have the proper airflow channels for a tank IE Protank, Vivi Nova since most people use rebuildables with mechs.

If you want proper airflow with your tank and the m16 you will need to get a eGo-510 adapter so it moves the tank higher allowing connection and airflow (this looks quite silly) or get a grinder out and grind down some airflow channels on the top cap.

what protank are you trying to use (1G, 2G, 3G?) because the late 1G version thru to the newest one is supposed to have the two parallel air channels cut into the bottom already.

edit: Yes, I really am an idiot... I just watched a video about the ProTank having airflow issues. I apologize for the distraction from the issue at hand.

I find it a little strange how no one is questioning why hes trying to sentinel a vivi nova.

sure, you can do whatever you want. You can get an adapter, you can get a dremel and force this to happen.
But this is kind of like saying, there's no rule that you can't eat a steak with a sword.
you can do what you want and all the things mentioned above, but why would you?

Life would be so much easier eating a steak with a steak knife.

So if you want to use your sentinel pair it up with a device that has its own airflow.
If you want to use a vivi nova, pair it up with a device that allows airflow.
I could be wrong but, wouldn't that have been the best answer?

Another option is to get an air flow controller. Places like Discount Vapers have them for pretty cheap (About $3-$4).

I'm actually using one right now with an Aspire tank on a mod because I like the air flow a little tighter than stock.

Where's the fun in that?
