Fabulous Free and other Cheap'N'Nasties

So I've been buying "Fabulous Free" pg/VG liquids from the corner shop and I've a horrid feeling that they hav been killingly my taste buds (they certainly seem to be killing my throat at times).

I've tried the Amber Leaf flavour and the Golden Virgina flavour. I've also noticed some knock-off flavours like "Benson" and "Silk Smooth" (Silk Cut).

Am I buying ..... stuff? I'm on the verge of returning my joyetech Ego-CC because of lack of flavour and a burning taste. Since getting my Protank yesterday the burning taste is gone but the taste is still rough. Any thoughts on this?

The burning taste could be the juice, or letting the atty get too dry... but as far as your taste buds go, they get all wonky when you first quit smoking and start vaping...

I would suggest getting some juice from a reputable vendor (look in the Review section here) and just giving your taste buds time to settle down!!

Question - Were these fresh mixed yesterday? If so - may require aging. Many liquids are not so tasty without it.

Also - Are these high PG liquids? PG is a bit of a throat irritant. Some are more sensitive to it than others.

I agree with the aging, steeping, and PG comment. I let all of my juice steep in a cool, dry place for about a week. I see you are in the UK. I don't know of any vendors from there. However, most will ship to you from the U.S.

What the last 2 posters have not taken into account is that if you have been buying your juice from 'the corner shop', the chances are that it has been sitting on the shelf long enough to be well steeped (lol)... and depending on whether it is an actual Vape Shop, or just a Smoke Shop selling some vaping supplies, would have a lot to do with the quality... not to mention the price!!!

I would be mildly concerned about vaping unknown brand corner shop e-liquid... it could be good quality and safe, but who's to know.
