Extra flavor or no extra flavor? That is the question.....

After browsing different juice vendors I've noticed some offer the option to add extra flavor..

i was wondering how many of you always add extra, or will depending on the flavor of juice or never?


and also, does anyone have any tips on when or not it is a good idea to add extra flavor in your order?

i never add extra flavor until i tried it "normal" first. and i am the type of person who loves flavor. i only get extra flavor at ecblends but never had to anywhere else.

I always add triple flavor, if available. I figure I can cut it down with unflavored if need be...

Not much of an extra sweetener or flavor fan myself. Though it's a solid option on flavors you want to be really sweet or candy like.

Just find it hard to vape those juices any decent length of time ... they get a bit overwhelming.

Usually best to try the normal flavoring but sometimes you'll see a juice where everyone reviewing says to add extra. That's a call you'll have to make.

depends on what you like.. usually you should try 1x flavor from a vendor before you go into extra or double extra flavor.
ALso if you decide to go with extra flavor and it tastes like flowers or perfume def let it steep.

If it's a favorite flavor, such as strawberries or a particular fruit that I want to shake up the balance with, I absolutely 99% of the time go extra flavor.

i'm usually reluctant to add extra flavor, but sometimes i do. Sometimes too many choices like this can be overwhelming.

Extra flavor choices scare me. If I don't tick the box, I'm worried I will get a weak, insipid juice. But if I do tick it, some juices will come out stomach-turningly strong. I want the vendor to sell me the juice, in the manner (s)he would want it to taste. If extra flavor or double flavor or MEGA SUPER NUCLEAR QUADRUPLE flavor makes their juice taste disgusting, they shouldn't offer that option.

Edited to add: this is what I write in the comments box of every Eliquid order I make:

"Please make all flavors as strong as you think is appropriate, without distorting the taste." It has worked pretty well for me.

I don't usually add extra flavor, especially if it's a first time order. I've tried it a few times with varying success. If you do order it with more flavor it might be a good idea to have some unflavored on hand to mix in, just in case it is too strong.

i am with gt on this one ... unless i am creating my own -- i am buying from a vendor for their take on flavors and i can see 1 extra flavor or sweetener for tweaking but when i see more than that i have to wonder if the vendor is any good --- i will just move on

I haven't felt the need to try any extra flavorings (still sampling various vendors). Does extra flavoring (other than flavor) effect juices in other ways (less/more TH, vapor, etc.)?
