I had read that folks were using the EVOD coil head in the protank to tighten up the draw,,so I ordered 10,,,,I got them today,,,,and I am on the third one already,,,starts out fine reads 2.2 ohms,,,works for a bit and then my VAMO reads "LO",,,the first 2 didn't work after that,,,the 3rd one just read "LO" and now works again,,,,,I'm pretty sure it isn't my vamo going bad because I have 2 other tanks going fine now as well,,,terminator,,and another protank(with protank coil.
Any ideas?
battery is fully charged

Check and make sure the bottom of the evod coil isn't shorting out against the edge of the protanks 510 connector. Every once in a while an evod head is touching the inside edge of the 510 connector and I have to nudge it off a bit. I have been using evod heads exclusively for more than a month in my protank with no issues other than that.

Come to think of it, I have had a few eVic "moments" with my Protank fitted with evod heads. i.i.r.c. they were fixed with loosening the base a bit.

I have shorted out 2 heads so far,,,,the third is now working and then not working,,,,maybe a bad batch? tried the same coils on my ego spare and the 2 were definately no good,,light just flashed,,,and the third worked at first and then did not,,,,on the VAMO,,the third head goes from 2.3 Ohm,,to 0.0 Ohm,,"LO" reading. I ordered 10 heads,,,I hope all of them are not like this.

i think I may have it figured out,,,the contact point between protank head and battery is smaller(diameter) than the EVOD head,,,I paid attention to the EVOD head when screwing it into the bottom piece,,,,it wobbles like dubstep,,,spins off center as it is screwed in,,,,leaving the very edge of this contact point very close or even touching the side of the 510 connection,,,,,,protank head screws on with no wobble side to side,,plus it has a smaller diameter,,so even if it were off just a bit it wouldn't be so near the edge.,,,,,,,,...,,,bad batch?,,or are they all like this?
