EVOD BCC use with eGo-C battery

Hi guys,

After getting bored of the finicky eGo-C tank system and not enjoying the flavourless vapour, I have bought an evod BCC. I tried screwing it down all the way onto my battery, but find that I get a really tight draw. The vapour that it produces is plentiful, and the flavour is great, but I don't enjoy nearly popping my ears when trying to get a good lungful. I've tried loosening it, and that works well. But I'm a pedantic man, and I think it should screw all the way down.

What are your experiences?

Is there anything I can do to modify the evod BCC so that I can get a looser draw when fully screwed down onto the battery.

Delivery devices should only be snug enough to prevent movement /wiggling, any tighter and you run the risk of damaging threads and or center posts on either the battery or delivery device.
Evods are known for a slightly tighter draw than other BCC's.

You could carefully enlarge the three airholes on the Evod base.

I'd start one at a time, and see how the first one works.

Aside from enlarging the airholes, I would get a T3s same manufacturer, airy draw, and holds 3mls

Don't tighten it all the way down. You could damage your battery and/or the clearo. I screw it down till it's 'finger tight' then twist @ a quarter turn more.
Also, what I've noticed using my Evods/mini Protanks is that sometimes the air holes on the base will get gunked up with dust, dirt or w/e. I'll just take the point of a safety pin into the holes to clean 'em out and the draw will improve.

The threads are there to maintain connection to the battery and stop them falling off. Over tightening may cause damage.

It's brand new, and I'm having to untighten mine about a quarter turn to for it not to feel like it's nearly got no airflow.

I use ego c's and evods or t3 (s) about 70% of the time I vape and I have noticed that sometimes. I have really struggled (like you describe) with the ce...6...I think, the new mesh style with holes in the vertical tube. A very tight draw. I do notice that the longer I go before changing the coil the tighter they draw (the evods) but I blame it on my high vg juice. I want to dry widening the hole(s) seems like a solid solution they're pretty small (on the evods & t3's I mean). Don't think I will get more of the mesh ce's.

On the bottom of the head, there is a channel cut to allow airflow because the flat bottom of the head screws down onto the center battery post. The channel is there to allow air to get in from the sides. I have gotten some heads that have very shallow channels cut. Compare a few different heads and seen if you don't have some with shallow channels.

This was driving me nuts until I figured it out.

I will never buy a evod as long as I live.
I have had a couple of them fail in a couple of weeks.

I am hooked on Vision Spinners with a kanger protank.

I think I've just found what I'm looking for: Adapters [VE163] - £2.75 : Vape Escape

A 510-510 adapter to give clearance from the battery for better airflow. It'll now be longer, but I won't find that airflow restriction when I screw it on.
