eVic Supreme control ring problem

Hey guys, does anyone that has an evic supreme ever had a problem with the control ring? on some particular "clicks" its gets almost stuck, seems like there is some kind of build up or gunk below it? How did you fix you'r issue?

Run dental floss around the circumference of the eVic on either side of the control ring. Worked great on the V1 eVic. Should do likewise on the S. Yes gunk gets built up over time and the floss will get it out.

no chance that I'd be able to get any kind of string in there, there's absolutely no gap :/ perhaps some wd40 would get in, but nothing solid. :/

Mine gets a little stubborn sometimes, feels like it's kinda miss-aligned like dragging against metal.. only 2 months old.. but I find either the errrm....two fingered gentle approach while rotating it and sometimes a tap from the back will "re-allign" it.

It's been a minor niggle sometimes but only occasionally

Well I don't know what kind of dental floss you have available but I just tried it on my eVic S and it works much like it did on the eVic V1. I personally would steer clear of wd40 as a possible solution.
