Eleaf Istick 50W Help!!!

I bought the Istick 50w by eleaf a couple of weeks ago from Vape NW online. I had no problems with it until about a couple of days ago. When I would go to fire it, it wouldn't fire and the display would read no/low battery when in fact it was charged at least to 50%. I was only running it between 35/40w, so I know I wasn't draining the battery. Well earlier this morning it was acting fine, but later it began to really get on my nerves because it was not firing at all. Before it would say low/no battery, but then after trying to fire again it would work fine. This time, though, it wouldn't even fire. Then all of a sudden it began firing again, but then I started getting this weird taste, almost like a dry hit, but different. I checked my tank (aspire atlantis) and it was fine (plenty of juice and screwed on correctly.) I decided to take one last hit off it to see if it was just a bad hit, but then I heard a pop and saw smoke pouring out of the charging port. I don't know what that exactly means, but I know that isn't good. The thing won't even turn on now, but even if it did, I wouldn't want to use it. Has anyone else had a problem in general with their Istick 50W? I just sent Vape NW an email about this. I haven't even had the product for a month, I purchased it on March 31st and received it about a week later.

It has a 3 month warranty from ismoka. If your vendor doesn't help, contact them for replacement.

We are seeing a lot of issues, largely due to juice leaking into them and possibly from subohming. I know they're advertised as a subohm mod, but it seems maybe they can't handle it. Small, controller, no venting. I'm now running my 3 at or above 1 ohm. Easy for me to do since I have multiple tanks, but a bummer for others. Its also possible your replacement has some of the issues ironed out.

I believe mine was only running at a 0.7 ohm. I noticed that it jumped around a lot too. I think I might have jumped the gun on getting this one too. I heard some people were having problems with the 30w at the beginning when I bought my 30w, but that they had ironed all the kinks out. I didn't wait to but mine long after the release. Maybe a month? So the first batch might have had some faults in them. I don't know, but I am currently waiting to hear back from Vape NW, but I am not sure what time their office opens considering they are in Washington and I am in Alabama.

Acording to eleaf's web site there are companys sellig imatation isticks. They are currently going to court for copy right blaa blaa. go to there web site they have a place where you put in a verification number to see if its a real one or a fake. I have one that is flashing low power and switches watts on me, and one that works perfect. they are both real Isticks. I think there is just good one and bad ones.

Any issue with my power button feeling loose? I just bought my first Eleaf 50W today. I'd like to know if this is normal for this device or am I going to have long term problems with it.

I haven't heard about loose. More problems with sticking, hard to press or autofiring. Maybe they took out the rubber grommet due to the sticking problems. If so, that might be a plus.

Counterfits is a possibility. I've had an iStick 50 since early March and used it almost exclusively with no issues. The only reason it's on the sidelines now is I'm smitten by temp control.
Glad yours works fine. There have been a lot of AUTHENTIC istick 50w mods that have very severe issues, some resulting in fire. Multiple design issues don't help their cause.
