twist....The normal GS Air come all the way apart also.

Thanks, I didn't know that.

The top on the GS Air does unscrew from the "pipe" but eleaf put some kind of adhesive or silicon sealant on the threads.
Does the bases switch from one unit to another, that is to say, does the GS16 fit the GS Air bottom?

Thanks, that may be why it seems to be stuck together, good info!

Yes, the bases and tanks are all interchangeable, same threads on all of them. Just the different coils depending on which base you're using.

That, I can not say as I don't have the GS16. But, it more than likely can. Maybe. :D

I need the replacement glass for the Air I broke...Oh well, for the price, I guess a whole new tank is not out of the question.

And, if they keep the base dimensions the same on later tanks with better airflow adjusments, it's easier and cheaper to buy
the base alone.

The airflow adjustment is my favorite part of the GSA. It's easy to fine tune it to my perfect preference which is about half open at the power level I'm usin with it. One full turn will make a difference of 25 % so I have it tuned to a quarter turn to get it right. Makes me think of tunin an air pilot screw on a motorcycle carburetor. :)

You're welcome. Yes I have a couple of GS16 and it's little brother the GS16S, they are good tanks, just no AFC on them and different coils, they use a push in coil with a tube that goes in the chimney.

The GS16 does have a bit more volume because the tank itself is a bit taller.

Here's a pic of the three of them side by side, my GS16's and GS16S's have the eGo skirt but the 510 bases also use that same coil.

GS Air on the left, GS16 in the middle, GS16S on the right.

this may have been asked before.....Of the 3 shown here, which one do you prefer?

The GS Air.

I had the other two already from a co-op. The GS16 & GS16S are still good tanks, I like them better with the AFC base from the GS Air.

The little one is good for testing juices or paired with the iStick Mini.

I think I prefer the chrome over stainless since it matches the isticks. I would rather them have ss caps because of fingerprints but it don't really matter. I like the Airs so much, I'm thinkin of changing my whole vape style. I'm tired of foggin up the house, coilin and wickin attys, and foolin with batteries. I've discovered what I really like is a light weight easy to use rig that only has moderate flavor and cloud. Just like what the Air and stick 30 provide. :)

Edit: It's like I enjoy eatin but I don't want to eat a whole smoked brisket everyday. I'm perfect with just the three normal well prepared meals. I've been way over-indulging :2c::laugh:

I would LOVE someone to do a historical review of your vape process, Sir Bike (yes, I've "Sir'd" you now) ;) I can't tell you the giggles you've provided from the "I hate it and am never going to like it" to the "Wow, this is the best ever!". You're adorbs, kiddo.

What's the capacity of the itty bitty GS16s, Ricky? Actually, what are the capacities of all 3? TIA!

The GS16S is listed at 1.3ml, the GS16 is listed at 2.6ml, and the GS AIR is listed at 2.5ml.

Pouring a tank of water from the GS AIR tank into the GS16 tank seems to hint at a bigger difference than 0.1ml they are listed at. Just an observation on my part. :)

GREAT (and realistic) observation. I can't help but wonder why two such similar tanks tho. The 16er has no airflow control, right? That little FT number is looking quite interesting. But. Where are the replacement coils, Mr. FastTech?

Actually, FastTech does have the replacement coils and at a better price than I've seen them. They sell a 10 pack for $14.40. I've been thinking about ordering some.

I ordered the 10-pack on 2/22- as of 3/2, this is the item holding up my shipment! not sure when they'll arrive, but I'll be sure to report asap!

Yes, I noticed that it says the coils ship in 5 business days, while the GS Air ships right away. Not sure why that would be, but I'm not sure how FastTech stocks things. I've been about to buy a couple more GS Airs and coils for awhile, but finding out that the tanks aren't exactly the same as what I'm currently enjoying is giving me pause.
