I just won this tank in a giveaway and am happy I did. Only been two days with it but I can’t put it down. I’m running it with the same juice I have in my Uforce T2 tank with freemax coil (great flavor) and side by side I’m impressed with how much better my juice tastes in my Raptor (quad mesh coil). I swap the nice 810 drip tip it comes with, because I don’t do 810’s, and shut the airflow down a hair from closed, run it at 60 watts, and it’s super flavor and lots of vapor. It strange it’s almost like it’s pumping the vapor out of this thing but still some restriction like I like. It’s a good looking tank and it is the most flavorful drop-in coil tank I’ve used up to this point so I decided it needed a thread to get the word out to my fellow vapers. It’s my first encounter with EHpro and I think they may be in cahoots with Horizon because the Falcon coils work in this tank and visa-versa, plus the the common theme of predatory birds. So anyway if you like a restricted hit tank (or DL with airflow open & 810 in) that explodes flavor, looks good doing it, and has a cool name like Raptor, then you may wanna give this bad boy a shot.

Well it appears I’m the only person using this tank which doesn’t surprise me, I had no knowledge of Ehpro or their products before this. All I’ll say is if you are looking for a new tank, you ought to give the Raptor a try, I think you’ll like it. If for no other reason then having two of us using the Raptor may keep the coils available for a longer time.
It does take Falcon coils in case someone reads that and worries about getting coils, there will be something available for coils even if they aren’t Raptor specific.

My memory is EHpro at least in the past made a name for themselves making extremely high quality clones. Sometimes better than the stuff they cloned. It’s possible the atty is better known under another name.

I don’t think so it looks to be an Ehpro original. It is affiliated with Horizontech in some capacity, which is why the Horizon Falcon coils work in this and visa versa. It is a bit expensive, IMO, at around $30-35, especially if someone hasn’t used any EHpro products. It isn’t carried at a ton of vendors either from what I’ve seen.

Could be an original. My data is years old.

Looks real good. I'm especially excited about a new wicking medium. Sea grass is a cool material, high hopes there.

Ehpro has many products that are inspired by others, but in the three years I've known of them, I haven't seen them release any clones. Some argue that their famous 101 mod is a Dicodes clone, but then those people really didn't think of how limited your design options for a budget regulated tube are:D

Not here. I’ve seen a lot of “now and wow” wick materials come and go. There is some difference between rayon and cotton which is based on increased fiber length but in the end cellulose generally turns out to be cellulose. It’s a bit like artisional salt that way. There just isn’t very much functional difference, and what little there is usually turns out to have nearly no basis in actual source.

My data is older than that so this could be what they are doing now.

Very down to earth. Who knows, it might be fun to try. Maybe I'm very conservative. I've only ever tried Muji (brown Japanese) and Native wicks (white American) and never needed much else. That's why the idea of seagrass seems fun to me. Tbh I will not likely buy this tank but I would be partial to buying a pack of the fiber to give it a shot.

My data is older than that so this could be what they are doing now.
And mine is from very limited experience, so there you go. At least we're sure we really aren't very sure.

Just wanted to update my experience with the EHpro Raptor tank. I was using the quad coil which delivers great flavor and I couldn’t be happier with that aspect. I’ve been vaping it at 60 watts with the airflow open just a tiny tiny bit for a restricted hit I prefer. I got 11 days from the coil and then the juice started to taste funky and burnt. Upon inspection of the unit the quad coils were blackened with some buildup. I’m currently trying the single coil option and they flavor is just as good as the quad coils but needs less power. I’m vaping the single at 40 watts for the warm flavorful vapor I like. I have hopes this coil will last longer being it’s one big coil instead of 4 small ones. This may not prove true but I will update with my findings on the coil longevity when this ones ready to swap.

With the airflow almost closed and no cool air getting to the coils, they surely aint gonna last long. I get over a month out of my mesh coils.
This is how I vape all my tanks with longevity only being short with these Raptor coils. I only take 1-2 second pulls so I don’t need a ton of air.

Well I tried the Horizontech falcon king coils, specifically the dual mesh 0.38 ohm one. The flavor from the Raptor coils, both the single and quad mesh, have better flavor but they start turning my juice dark after a few days and then the flavor starts to turn. These Falcon coils don’t have the same problem. They last much longer which is good but I wish the flavor was as good as the Raptor coils. I’ve been using the same juice so my observations wouldn’t be contaminated like my juice with a Raptor coil after a few days. I have several packs of Raptor coils so I will get the amazing flavor for some time to come but if nothing changes I can’t continue buying these and will start using the Falcon coils exclusively. Just to be clear the Falcon coils aren’t bad, they have really good flavor it’s just the Raptor coils are incredible. If anything changes I’ll report back here.
