So I started out with a blu pack and like it, light smoker, no cravings. Just enjoyable vaping. Just bought an ego-c Twist and nano clearomizer 2.8 ohm because in the forums I learned these work great on the blu and ego 510 types. So I get best of both worlds, stealthy cigalike vape on the road with blu and ego c twist for power and voltage control at home.

Now I have a curious problem. The clearomizer worked on the ego for a while. At 3.7v 4v. Then I switched it to the blu it worked nicely. When I switched it back to ego it stopped working. I presumed the clearo was fried or clogged. However it works on the blu still. Got another clearo set up and it works on the ego. So what's going on here? Is it the clearo or the battery? I am perplexed.

Hi Wheats.
If the clearo is working on your Blu battery but not the twist, I'd suggest it's either your clearo not making contact with the twist, or the twist battery itself.
It could be something as simple as the bottom contact pin of the clearomizer is just not quite making contact with the center pin of the battery. If you turn your clearo upside down, pull the center pin down a tiny bit with a pair of tweezers or needle-nose pliers and try again. Try to do it in small fractions as if you pull it down too much, you can end up with a leaking clearo.

If that doesn't work, you could try prying up the center post of the twist. You can do this by gently prying up all around it with a paperclip, screwdriver or similar. I stress, be very gentle with it. Based on what you said was the issue though, I don't think this is the problem - but it's still good info to file away.

Having to pry up the center post of ego batteries is a common issue. You can help reduce this issue by not screwing anything down too tight onto your batteries and keeping the area around the center post and threads free of juice.

Hi InTheShade,

Thanks for the info. All good details for future reference. The battery works great with every other carto and clearo I have. I bought four clearos after the cartos, the first one didn't work, 2nd did. And now doesn't. I did have some overfill issues and leakin. So I will chock it up to cheap and look into Meniere's suggestion.

As a follow up, InTheShade was spot on with the suggestion to tweezer the center pin on the clearo. Works great now! I guess my ape-like tactile response needs to be a bit more gentle on the threads.
Willing to bet you are a guy, then. If I had known your gender, I probably would have made InTheShade's suggestion. :D
