Has anyone made homemade e juice with vegetable glycerin?
If so, did it work?
I was looking on youtube and one video said the ego-t would not vape properly with vg. Has to be combo pg and vg. I'm hoping this isn't true. I haven't made my own e juice yet and when I do I was planning on using vegetable glycerin, water, flavouring.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I only wanted to use VG because I have no idea where to buy PG from my local stores, ordering PG online is way too expensive from sites I found in Canada.
I heard you could cut VG with everclear, I'm sure that is alcohol, not something I want to use.
Too bad PG wasn't as easy to get as VG is....

Help me please finally figure out how to make my own e juice out of products I can buy in local stores, so I can tell others who are poor like me.

By the way I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba(Canada).

You can thin VG with 5% everclear and some water. If you use anhydrous glycerin (ie 99% glycerin), be sure to add at least 10% water on top of the everclear. With aqueous glycerin, I'd still add at least 5% water. You won't have any wicking problems if you thin it out enough. You don't want to thin it out too much, either, cause it'll start leaking.

I've used vg in egoTs before and it's not great. It's do-able, it's just not great. I used to take about 10 drags and have to leave it to wick for a few minutes then take another 10 hits. Since the egoTs already mute flavour with pg, dropping to vg really dulls the flavour.

Like dormouse said, pg shouldn't be any more expensive than vg really I don't think.

A lot of people dislike CE2s but I've yet to find a better (affordable) tank system for vg. I just made the inner seal slots a little bigger which is very easy to do and it wicks no problem. Godsend!

PG is cheap...most farm supplier stores carry it, as its added to horse feed and whatnot..just be sure it says USP on it. Then you have plenty of online vendors that sell it as well.
You can use the VG just fine, once it is watered down. 5-10% would be correct, distilled water. You want a consistancy of watery maple syrup. But add water only AFTER youve added your flavors and nic and tested the consistancy first, otherwise you could wind up with...watered down juice.
Just be careful with your nic. Use low mg while your learning. ( 36 or less)
