Hi all,

Newby vapor here. I found a nice girly, cost effective set up that I want to get to replace my not so pretty set up. My question is, this eGo has a clearomizer in the starter kit and I'm not ready for that just yet. I like cartomizers.

Can someone look at this and tell me if I can use cartomizers on this battery? Like I said, I'm a newby, still learning the lingo and devices.

and Ps....What does "tank" mean? Is that a cartomizer? Clearomizer? Ah! So many things!

I just want to be able to fill my eliquid and vape and not have to worry about replacing coils and wool and such.

Check here: And yes, you can use cartomizers on this battery. Last Q: Tank just means that this has a place to hold e-juice so you don't have to keep dripping like some others.
The item you linked to is EVO type battery and it will work with all CE style delivery style and also 510/CE4/CE5/CE6 EVOD etc...etc...

Basic idea is the same. But you should look at it this way.
when either of them are at the end of useful life(depends on if you let it burn then, it's done) you will either have to rebuild or replace.
So you can buy extra non-rebuilt able ones as spares or buy rebuilt able ones and also learn to rebuilt (than you will have to get the wick and wire and stuff.)
For me I'm at buying the non rebuilt able ones and keeping some spares. I bought about 10 spares.

You can also buy rebuilt able ones and just replace the pre-built heating coils (which you will have to stock up on.)

Here's a link to a good explanation of juice delivery systems by baditude: E-Cigarette Forum - Uncategorized - Blogs

I haven't found clearomizers very difficult to use. Normally when the coil burns out, you just unscrew the head and replace it with a purchased replacement and your back in business. Hope the link helps.

Very pretty :)
The link above I hope explains all the different "juice delivery systems" - but a clearomizer doesn't have to be complicated - it HAS an atomizer built in, its just a little tank you fill up. When it wears out, you can replace ONE PART - just by screwing in a new one, saving money. You DON'T have to learn to rebuilt things, dealing with wires or wicks, etc...

That's a super-cheap way to get a pretty battery and a charger.
If you do put a cartomizer on it, you might want to look for a "cone" - just for looks!

Here's my Silver Set - silver ego battery, silver cartomizer, silver cone:

Wow thanks guys!

So for a clearomizer...can one be reused with a different flavor? Like if you clean it out? If so, how do you clean it out?
I've been told by one of my local dealers to use vodka. Soak, rinse, dry and put in new flavor and let that soak in for a few minutes. I haven't tried it so I can't say how well it would work but when the time comes I am going to try it.
