Ego Attys...Cone and Cylinder

so ive been looking through vendors in the west coast area and see that the ego mega atty has 2 different ones. mine for example is a cone shaped mega atty and most vendors carry the cylinder shaped mega atty. i only found one vendor that has the cone shaped atty. even the vendor i bought my kit doesnt have it or i have no clue if they do because their site is unclear. so for those members who have Egos but use the mega atty and not 510 attys or cartomizers. is there a different in sizes when it comes to getting the carts for it. im so confused since when i first started going through and doing my homework on PV's all the Egos started with 510 attys. now there's these mega attys which i have. but like i said. theres cylinder ones and cone shape ones. and theres only one vendor that differenciates the 2. i hope someone can clarify this for me. cuz i dont want to buy the wrong thing or end up buying more. and if there is a difference between the 2. then i might have to look to another vendor for parts and my juice from my original vendor. sigh. sorry to ask this if its been answered. thank you everyone.

I hope you don't mind if I listen in here.....I have the same general question. My new Ego came with what looks like a cone and uses the larger outside threads on the battery. The 510 carts use the inside threads, as do the 510 LR carts. I'd like to be sure when I order backups what, exactly, all these parts are

I have the Ego and have tried pretty much all of the atty's except for the cone atty.....I use a 902 atty from modern vapors that comes in an SS model and a reg model, I love both, they are the ones I use generally. I can't figure the cartomizers to save my own life, LOL...and I tried the Mega Cylinder atty, I have had 3 of these, so far only ONE will not leak..but if your looking for those go to My Freedom Smokes, Chris has a good selection and his customer service is AWESOME and prices can't be beat!..Although I may have to fill the 902 atty more, I don't care, got that down pat. Generally a 510 atty will fit the ego, the 902 is basically a 510 type....What I like about the SS902 atty is that it is longer, and the carts that Tony has to go with them hold more juice....I'm not a wiz on these things, only almost to my 3rd month, don't really 'study' them like I should, but this works for me very well. I have the 2/902's and have had them since Aug and they are running great, I'm not the vaper that cleans them everytime I change flavors, LOL...I mix and match my flavors anyhow, but they are still vaping up a storm....hope this helps....my fave suppliers are Modern Vapors, My Freedom Smokes, Cignot and Ms. T's Bakery(yummy)....

I have a couple mega cylinder's, which are referred to as the type b style mega atty's cones are type a they use different cart's and drip tips.

rw: is it a cone atty or just a hollow cone? If its hollow its there for cosmetics and will also affect the tightness of the draw, some people like them some run their ego's with out them.
