E Cig Blamed For Fatal Fire

This Sky News story caught my eye. Sorry for guy's death, of course, but I don't think it would have made national news without the e-cig angle.

Yeah, it's the e-cig's fault... there's no way he could have started a fire with a real cigarette... not with an oxygen tank... seriously, people... know your hazardous equipment... I'm just surprised it wasn't the toaster's fault! (Not joking, people on O2 should be WAAAYYY more careful!!)
I am sorry for the guy's death, though... and I'll step down from my soapbox...

Sad to hear this.

We do need to keep in mind that most incidents reported (at least all that I've been made aware of) involve user error in one way or another.

Read that article on BBC news, MFRS rep (Manchester Fire and Rescue Services) mentioned that it appeared he was using a different model of charger to the device.

Yeah, I think most but not all of these accidents are user error. Of courese there will be device malfunctions and stuff like that too.
