The software to control the power curve and TCR functions is definitely a work in progress. I downloaded it from the Kanger site, installed it, and have been playing with it a bit. Lots of features, such as the ability to customize all of the screens, define the M1 to M5 power curves, and others, but there's no instructions or manual, so it's a 'click this and see what happens' type of experience.

Don't think I'll try downloading any of the settings to my Dripbox for a while -- worried I might brick the mod. Look forward to feedback from those who are more tech-savvy than I to determine if the software is worth using.

fixed? well i'm not really surprised since all the others are too... bit i would have liked spring loaded to work better with other atties...

I don't know How Well a Spring Loaded 510 Pin would work on a Squonker?

Not say'n it Can't Work. But I could see where there Could be Problems.

I shim most of my rda's. So a Fixed 510 pin Isn't really an Issue.

The Steam Crave has a spring loaded that works well.
The reverse threaded adjustable REO 510 works good.
It lets you adjust side air addys to a 45deg, no leaks when you lift the mod to vape.

I'm sure we'll find someone willing to do that!

Do you have a Download Link?

I was looking around and about the Only thing I found was a Firmware Upgrade...

    Firmware

Not sure what Firmware version I have? Or even how to see which version it is.

That's it - item #4. It downloads a ZIP file that contains the software (Kanger VaporSetup).

In addition to customizing the screens, programming TCR, setting up power curves, etc. it appears to be the loading program for firmware updates (of which there are none at present, to the best of my knowledge).

    OK...

I downloaded the Kanger Software and changed the logo to say "zoiD" when it Starts. LOL.

I also did a Custom Power and Temperature Line for "M5". And it Actually Worked!

Excellent! I may have to fiddle about with it over the weekend and see what mess I can make of it.

The Software is kinda Kludgy to use.

Like how the Heck do you do Multiple Lines in the Display Text Editor?

And you have to move Each 300ms Data Point Individually in the Power/Temperature Lines. But it did Work. And I see how you could do so Trippy Stuff with Ramp-Ups and Power to Temp Ratios.

Mine came in today as well. It did not take long to be up and (sort of) running with it. I found that if you 'unscrewed' the bottle it would slowly work its way out to the point that you could remove it.

I tried 3 different Ti RDA's with little to no success. I switched to the NI profile with a 270F temperature setting and it seems to be working.

Like others I was a bit miffed that there was no wattage setting in TC mode. There IS NO MENU. Simply 3 clicks of the fire button changes modes. <fire>+<-> key locks the buttons (other than fire) and <fire>+<+> rotates the display. (for those of us who don't read the manual)

It's a bit smaller than the COV Wraith. Nice big squonk hole for the bottle.

The SS is VERY PRETTY however is a finger print magnet.

For $26.95 it still is a 'no-brainer' purchase. Very solid feeling and looking device. Simple to operate. It squonks different than my Wraith so it will take a bit to get used to. I have not tired the included RDA. I plan on pulling their build (and TON of cotton) and drop a Ni coil wicked in Rayon to try it out.

side air atty, like at the bottom? and a squonker shouldn't leak, it sucks back the excess, unless you've massively over squonked...

btw, i can't recommend this enough as a squonker RDA, i managed to burn my throat yesterday, because i was on my hubby's dripbox and the differences in how they bring the juice up, the transformer is a far lighter squeeze. the flavour topper is 2/3rds the size of the 60w rdas that come with the dripboxes, and the cloud topper puts out massive amounts of clouds(to my hubby's dismay). being able to build postless for the flavour topper makes it a really compact profile, the holes in the base are large enough for just about any fancy coil you can build. i've become addicted to building postless on this thing and putting on the cloud topper with some raised up coils and... yep making huge clouds... i might become a cloud seeker yet.

BTW - For anyone using SS under TC for either the DripBox 2 or the DripBox 160w, what Temperature Setting do you like for what Builds?

I've got a 160 and use ss316l for tc, usually build single coil in a nardia but occasionally change it up. I've used dual coil in a no pity clone and the flavor is great but prefer single coil with the 160 due to less ramp up time.

I try to get 8-10 wraps with a 2.5mm-3.5mm id depending on the atty and how much room I have. With the nardia if I remember correctly 2.5 or 3.0 work best. Sticking to 8-10 wrap and 2.5-3.5 id usually puts me somewhere in the .4-.7 ohm range which has worked well for me with the 160.

Temp setting is more of a preference thing, my starting point is 420 and I move up from there. I'm usually between 440 and 480 with a nardia but I've been 520 or higher on some builds. Many things effect temp, even the resistance change between two attys with the same exact build can effect temperature preference, as long as contact points are secure and temp mode is working correctly I think of the temperature adjustment as more of a volume control.
