I have a few flavors that I often use as the only flavor. Now, I do like my sweets, so I'm not considering my sucralose sweetener as one, since I add some amount of it to everything.

TFA - Caramel Cappuccino - I like at 1 drop per 10ml
Capallas - Double Chocolate or Strawberry - I like both at around 11-13%
Flavour Arts - Cocoa - I like at 6-7%
Tasty Puff - Pineapple, coconut, and blueberry - I like at around 2-3%

I guess that there are others that I have that are good by themselves, but I prefer them with hints of other flavors. I'll be ordering a few more TFA flavors in the next day or so, so hopefully I find some more standouts there. :)

I vape alot of single flavors mostly tobaccos, drink flavors and some fruits like peach. I don't like to over complicate matters either and it took me a long time to get a handful of multi flavor recipes I could say-- hey I want to duplicate that again. Some people enjoy fiddling and some flavors need help to be memorable but for the most part there's alot of good flavors for a one or two flavor combo.

For about 9 months now I've been vaping No Flavor At All. That, and 0Nic, Zero Nicotine. It cuts the eLiquid expense down to zilch. I buy PG & VG by the gallons. My eLiquid cost is out three decimals. .006 p/mL JMHO

Cheers,
otrpu

That's interesting Otrpu because I've noticed that I don't mind vaping plain PG/VG either. I started because someone suggested it was a good way to clean the atty between testing flavors. That was when I decided I could go a little lighter on the flavors, where as once I was ordering pre-mixes with extra shots of flavor!
Thanks for the input.

So true, and even if we don't go completely without, I think the less flavor we use, the potentially better off we are. We pretty much know the effects of the other things we are inhaling when we vape, it is the flavorings that are the unknown. Though they are safe to ingest, they are not safe to inhale. With the known danger of the "custard notes" (Acetoin, Acetyl Propionyl) in flavors, who knows if there are other potentially dangerous chemicals when inhaled that just haven't been discovered yet because so few inhalation specific studies are done? We quit smoking to save our lungs, why jump from the frying pan into the fire? I don't want to be paranoid either, but why push our luck? I think we can train ourselves to use less at least and still be satisfied...a reasonable compromise. JMHO

I am still new enough to DIY that all I'm doing at present is single flavor mixes (although that's rapidly changing as I try to come up with boozeahol blends I like).

But at the moment, my all-day is just a bubblegum at 20% with a dash of sweetener. Tastes like Bazooka bubblegum to me, and I loved that stuff when I was a kid. :)

graham cracker is also a nice add-in flavor. the peanut butter cup recipe i use has equal parts choco and gc, and 2 parts PB. yummmm

Most of TPA e liquid flavours i vape as singles, black cherry, cappucino, menthol, vanilla, banana cream etc.

But it is quite interesting to mix them up a bit I guess, specially if you get hold of flavours such as pie crust, gives the fruit flavours a whole new life. That makes me think...banana cream pie might be one i will try having said that!

do you find that banana brings its own kind of TH to the table? i know it sounds odd, but i heard that somewhere and id be willing to believe it. i know that certain citrus flavors have a nice tart type of TH, but i recently heard banana did too.

My pyrex tanks will be here before my DIY...which means I will be on a single flavor bananna and I love the idea. I'll also make peanut butter bananna. And strawberry bananna. I ordered a handful of flavors...wanna guess which one I want first?

oh and you guys have inspired me to do more single mix flavors. im a dummy to not have tried that earlier as most of my favorite mixes are the more basic ones. and on top of that, im no pro DIYer. for some reason some of my mixes dont produce great vapor or flavor. i must have messed it up somewhere along the way, but for example ive got a 65/35 555 that i made and i cant get it to produce anything worth a darn. good thing i mix small from the start. (unless the mix turns out good, then im always wishing i had mixed big! )

It does in my opinion. I am at 55% VG, 14 nic and I can get a kick from it.

Today I have half PB and half bananna, I love the combo...and I made it. So cool. I kept both flavors down at 5%, it's mild...and to me, perfect.
