Hi

I have seen quite a few E-Cig kits and disposables around the town recently in Newsagents and petrol stations, But have never come across anyone using them?

Does anyone here use this method as there supply?

Or would you consider buying them.

I asked at the Petrol Station yesterday "Are they any good & Do you sell many??" and the answer back to both questions was "Don't Know"
OK ill leave it then! Was my reply.

Personally i think these placed selling them will harm the industry because of the lack of knowledge.

I have a friend of mine that didn't smoke much before, would usually smoke a half a cig put it out and come back to it in a couple of hours. She priced all the e-cigs that I and other friends have and decided it wasn't cost effective since she didn't know if she would stick with it. She bought a cheap one off the shelf with rechargeable battery and replaceable prefilled cart's. Is it the best setup in the world? No, but it works great for her and that's what counts. Not everyone wants/will use the larger mods that many of us do. The main reason *I* never bought one of those kits was because the people selling them couldn't answer my questions. If say, my battery died on the road - I would buy and use one of those before I went back to regular smokes.

I can't see how it really *hurts* the industry, I think it gives regular smokers a chance to try them before they actually switch over...

nobody knows what newsagents or high street shop is. and no nobody on here buys from crap places like you mentioned. at least half of the ppl on here did buy from a junk source in the very beginning but if theyre on here, they buy from good places now, mainly online.

A newsagents is a shop which sells News papers magazines tobacco products sweets stationary ect General Stores might be more familiar with you?
High Street shop is just any shop which is based in a town/city center?

Of course we know what newsagents or high street shops are, we just happen to call them other things. This poster is from the Uk, obviously from his post. Considering this forum started in the UK, your nasty American attitude is giving the rest of us a bad name. What he is asking, in YOUR terms, is:

Have you ever bought from a retail location (walgreens) other than an ecig shop? And the answer is: Not yet, but if I were in need, it would be good to know they are there. So far, I have bought all of mine online.

I have no doubt if my battery ran down I would be fine buying a grocery or gas station (pretrol shop) disposable to get me over the hump until I could get to my usual one. It would be MUCH better than buying a pack of cigarettes and smoking. But I wouldn't want to rely on them as my regular set up. I guess its a good thing the disposables are there, even if the shop clerk has no knowledge of their efficacy.

im actually a canadian and a british citizen, not an american, nonetheless, unless you live in the UK, you likely don't know what those things are. we know what a gas/petrol station is and what a convenience store is and what a pharmacy is and what a smoke shop is because those are universal terms. i didn't mean to come off as rude but the bottomline is most posters on here simply don't know what those are.

I do have a couple of "cig-a-likes" I bought at a liquor store. I also buy refill cartridges there. They don't taste all that great, but I use them when I'm going out somewhere and don't want to draw attention to myself with a vv & tank. I certainly wouldn't use them as my primary vape, but they can serve a purpose.

regardless of what you call them, buying from any mass market place is gonna usually be overpriced and lower quality. the best place is online, second best would be a local vape shop, third best would be a local smoke shop and it's all down hill from there.

Seriously? What's up with you?

Your name is apt since it's about to go into one of mine.

I've honestly been considering seeing if the local Walgreens here carry Blus like i've heard some do. I've got this weird urge to try one out for some reason, even though I know they're total crap. I did my research before buying my first kit so luckily I never really had to use one, BUT I was at work one day and my gear went on the fritz, so I went to 711 and bought one called 21st Century. It was a battery with 2 cartos that looked like a 510 but had slightly less threads. By pictures I think it might have been a 4081 or something similar. Didn't work all that great(When I say it didn't work all that great I mean compared to the kind of setup that I would be used to vaping) but it actually worked well enough to get me through the day and was only like 15 bucks. Although I had to take more drags it did completely satisfy my needs for a vape, even though the liquid in it wasn't very good at all. Once it ran out I filled it up with some Pear juice I had.

Money well spent IMO to avoid a whole day without any vaping at all!
