So there's been quite a lot of high wattage mods, some in the 200w range. But does anyone actually vape on that high of a wattage? If so, what build would you use, and how would you wick such a build?

Thanks!
I have only gone higher than 20 watts a few times.

For 200 watts toy need an RDA with BIG airflow to keep tge coils cool and not burn the wicks.

The reason to have a 200 watt device us battery life. Maybe 1% of the vapers vape at 200 watts. Most people carry a 200 Watt device sovtgey can vape at 60-90 watts and the battery life last All day.

I vape from 51-65w, never higher and you are exactly right I only have a 200w device because it holds 2 batteries, I'm constantly looking for smaller dual 18650 mods, Joyetech just released their VTC Dual which looks promising, has the option for single or dual 18650 :D

I've hit 65w once, for a brief trial, but most times I'm at 20w or less. But I have a triple battery 200w mod just for the run time it provides.
There is a member here @Tommy-Chi that vapes mainly around 150w most times, hopefully he'll chime in here and give you the other side of the story.

It all depends on your coil resistance and type of coil. When you use, say dual fused claptons, it requires more wattage to produce the same output as a regular coils. For example, if I used 26g regular coils, 5 wraps, on a 3mm id, equaling .3 ohms, I'd run it around 60-75w max. Using 26/32 claptons with the same wraps and ohms, would need 80-95w to result in the same amount of heat/ramp up time. Another example, is the TFV4 quad coils vs. the TFV8 oct. coils. Both have a .15 resistance. Yet the quad coils have a recommended wattage of 40-140w, and the oct coils have a 50-260w range. So vaping around 200w is possible, without getting too hot. More wire needs more power.
