Do you think ceramic wicks are better than Stainless Steel Mesh?

I have 2 ProVari Minis and 2 Z Atty Pros, one has the ceramic wick, and the other has a 400 mesh SS. I'm using the same e-liquid in both, but I cannot really tell much difference between the two types of wicks. Can I get some feedback on this? What are your experiences with ceramic wicks vs. SS mesh? I appreciate any input you guys might have.

Well, i have seen people swearing by ceramic over mesh, and not the other direction. So i assume ceramic is better.

I can imagine a few reason: cleaner taste since its not colored by the taste of steel, durability since it doesnt burn. And i think ceramic wicks faster as well.

Having said that, it requires some skills to use ceramic. Most important thing is the coil wrap: it needs to be very tight, since ceramic has porous surface and the coil isnt making very good contact with the wick, resulting in less juice getting vaporized. So far, most people wrap using the EHW method and have found great success with it.

There are two types of ceramic. The porous ceramic and the ceramic rope. The rope isn't fragile, wicks the same or better than silica and doesn't have the burnt metal taste you can get with SS mesh. I prefer it, but I vehemently against SS mesh because it tastes terrible to me. The porous ceramic is really fragile, kind of a pain to work with. But the braided strand rope stuff is really nice.
