I prefer warm (not hot) over cool but I think that is my brain associating warm vapor with analog smoke - I am sure I could convince it to associate cool with the whole replacement idea but I have not tries to be honest. I don't even like flavors that 'cool' the taste down and I am sure that equates to having smoked certain analogs for a very long time. It took me a while to catch on to the difference when I got a bit pushy about getting hubby off analogs and on to e-cigs. I know after I was fully over to vaping his habit started driving me crazy from the smell - it did not make me want to smoke - it stunk. Although I got him to try several of my setups and flavors he thought they were overly harsh and it took a while for me to figure out that his definition of what he did not like was all about temperature not flavor or nic strength. At the time this was a bigger issue then now as bottom coils were not as easy to find and cost more. I finally bought one and noticed a big difference for me in temperature and knew that if it did not make the feel of vaping good for him it was something that would sit in my vape box unused,
It, however, made a huge difference for him. When he sampled (again) vaping using the bottom coil his reaction was 'that is a good flavor - I could do it with that'. He was vaping a flavor he had already tried and rejected when it was a warmer vape. Temperature became another question in the list I ask people when I get the 'can you tell me what to get started with' since I know my own setup is good for me but may not be for others. Temperature does matter to many people as a part of a satisfying vape.
