So me and my wife had a halloween party this past weekend and i put about 2ml of some TFA extract into the "fog juice" and it worked really well! for about a few hours... the fog smelt like coconut and pineapples until it died. The machine holds 1 qt of a PG/water mix. So i figured a few ml of PG based flavor couldnt hurt anything. Im not sure if its a coincidence that the machine broke, or it has something to do with the flavoring i put in.

I thought id post in here because people in the DIY forum probably have the supplies and maybe have tried this before.

Anybody have experience with this? The machine heats up but it seems the juice inlet is clogged somehow. Maybe due to the flavoring?

My youngest step-son is a DJ and I gave him some Lorann's Cherry to try this with in his fog machine. He only used about half a dram, and I was unable to smell any hint of it. Maybe a higher concentration would work, but ya gonna figure the amount (~10%) that we use in nicquids would constitue alot of flavoring to mix with 1qt. I dunno if I'm willing to give up that much of my Black Honey tobacco lol!

Higher concentrations could gunk up the system.
If you notice, Fog juice is VERY thin.

If the fog machine was one of those ones sold at Halloween stores, I would bank on the machine just broke, those things any pretty much junk. We bought one for the club I worked at, it broke halfway through the first night, we got it replaced twice with the same results, so we just returned it and bought one from a music center and never had a problem.

It was from a Halloween store. Which is why I feel its a coincidence. But hey before it died the fog smelt awesome!!! With only 2ml extract to the 1qt fog juice. I may try and clean it out and see if it just got gunked.

check it to make sure the small tube is still in place and dripping onto the heating element, I think it may just be a coincidence, yes certain flavors can attack plastics, but I dont think it would happen after only a couple hours.

So this idea has inspired me to invention. Picture a bank of fog machines all filled with different flavours, with a remote control to set them off from a distance. Park it under the TV cabinet, turn on your favourite movie and blast flavoured smog that matches the scene.

its funny you should mention this. its actually something that companies are working on. i read it a while back in an article. they even plan on using the technology in video games. soon youll be able to smell the monkey dung in the jungle level of your first-person shooter! lol \o/

I got an idea. How about adding some nic to it as well as flavoring and taking a big blast off it lol
I mean, it's essentially an oversized PV right? heheheh
I bet the TH and vapor production would be intense.

youre not the first one to get that idea!
and yes, your speculations are correct. the vapor production is of guiness book proportions.

Im sure if you got the right parts and one that could handle the thickness of the juice.. Then maybe. I know for a fact people have used these things as vaporizors for other sorts of things for awhile now.
