I know that my Revenger has an option to take a hit on hard, medium or soft. Even though I have been vaping for quite some time I have never messed with these particular settings. What happens if I set my device on hard as opposed to medium or soft? Can these settings help with ramp up time? I'm very interested in how people use this setting and how it possibly affects my batteries in any way.
In General these settings adjust the initial ramp up power
Soft - Soft or gentle ramp up, a very slow gradual ramp up compared to normal, would be useful if you take long drags or are using TC mode, for a sit back gentle relaxing long draw vape without choking yourself out
Normal - Standard output, what watts are set the mod fires at those watts the whole time the power is supplied
Hard - Hard is opposite of soft, is more useful to your power cloud chasers, I use one mod, an Evic VTC Mini /w 3rd party firmware (Arctic Fox firmware), that I use for MTL tanks, I have it set to ramp up hard at 10watts for 2 seconds, then drop down to my screen set watts of 8watts, mods with a soft, normal, and hard profiles, the hard profile follows about this same concept here I have manually done in my VTC Mini, a % extra above set watts, burst up to those watts in a set amount of time, then ramp down to set watts to maintain coil temp and power output, so you can see where it is more popular to be in this mode for a cloud chaser compared to a MTL user.
