Well mamu. I have the dna all wired up, and I was using a dremel to cut out a section for the screen on the heartwood box....but I wasn't careful enough and the box split in half:(

My wife says 'buy more boxes.' But I think I'm going to get the same case you used for the Denali, and forget about the wood enclosure....for now. If I mess up the Denali case, I won't feel as bad since it's cheaper.

That's sad news - it always sucks to lose a case. Some of those wood cases are dry and a bit brittle. Some of them I rub mineral oil on and let it soak in before working with it.

But you'll like working with the Denali case - easy peasy dremeling the holes and cutouts. The case has a quirk in that there is a usb cutout hole in the top that needs epoxied, then sanded smooth. But that's easy peasy too.

To be in compliance with ECF's policy on modding and the practice of modding, I will no longer share my modding knowledge, or share modding tutorials here at ECF.

You all know where you can find me.
