Might not be a bad idea. I'm willing to bet that every reviewer gave Kangertech an ear full about the lack of wattage adjustment in TC, Firing delay, long ramp up & lack of RBA.I've read a few reviews that mention a faulty firing button, so I'd keep an eye on that. If I end up getting one, I'm gonna be sure to go with a place like VaporDNA that I know has a good return policy. I might just wait for a 2nd batch in case they fix some of these issues.
I love all in ones, I haven't yet found the perfect one, but they are improving.I want the Cupti it's 75 watts VS 50 for Plato - I like sub ohm & I don't see 50 being enough.plus their RDA is the easiest imo!
I just got to have one all in one box- lol

Can't say I didn't warn you!So, I broke down and got this last week. It's fine...but it's just annoying more than anything. Mainly:
-The fire button delay is maddening. I'm counting Mississippi's at this point.
-The lack of a stealth mode really bugs me. That screen is just lit up in my face all the time.
-I'm putting the same juice in both this and the Nebox at the same wattage, and I just don't enjoy the flavor as much, nor the airflow.
-I haven't gotten full flooded yet, which is good, but I do get some gurgling at times.
-It is really tough to see your juice level. I don't understand why they tinted it like that.
-DL drip tip is too big (easy fix, but I don't get why they didn't just use the original Nebox one)
On the plus side, the form factor and battery door are nice. I'm looking forward to trying the MTL coil and see if I can just transform this into a different experience all together.
I can't believe I'm saying this, but now that the price is so cheap for the Nebox, I think I'd recommend it over this. In fact, you could almost get 3 Nebox's for the same price. Since the leaking can be fixed, I'd suggest someone just get a small army of them and just usb charge them to avoid the battery door pain.
Been feeling guilty about not telling you to avoid Cupti since I saw your post as I knew what you personally were looking for but I decided to try and temper my expressed thoughts and opinions as Cupti can work well for many others and I did not want to discourage others. So, I broke down and got this last week. After reflection I have to say that unless you are a dedicated MTL vaper who absolutely does not want even the hint of oozing from your equipment and are willing to sacrifice performance, capacity and taste to aceive that then I recommend you buy Nebox @ $20/unit over Cupti.
Sorry DrySprocket for the disservice I did to you by not coming right out and saying that.
Welcome to the forum Martin! I too have only had an occasional gurgle or two right after filling unit the first couple of times when they were new that vaped off quickly and since have had no issue with flooding (never Primed). Thinking that as the coils are seasoned, solids from the juice are trapped in the cotton creating slightly more of a barrier against flooding.I have had this for a couple weeks now. Someone actually posted a video I did a few pages back on this thread. I have still had no spitting issues at all with this, and it seems like that is far from the majority.
I also started a thread about the issues with the Cupti, and there was one thing a few people did that they all said worked, which is let it sit upside down for a few minutes (sorry if this was already said, I didnt have time to read through all 5 pages, just wanted to offer a few solutions I had heard).
The other one was that someone tried not priming the coil, and twice they said it had been successful.
The third point I personally wondered about is if possibly thicker juice could make a difference. I use 80VG/20PG and it has been great.
I also recently started using the Eleaf Lyche, and that did spit, as this is an issue with the Notchcoil (which I'm sure someone mentioned).
But I have been paying attention to the Cupti in particular, since after doing some searches, I realized a lot of people are frustrated with this, and so wanted to do some digging, but my Cubis (and now Lyche) did the same and I just left it alone.
I did resolve the Lyche problem with a twisted up paper towel down the mouthpiece chimney.
But it seems for some people once it stops, on the coil you are using, it goes away. Vapor Trails had said the issue with his went away after some use in his video review also.
Thanks, and yeah I especially hope to find a solution when there is an issue like these coils are having.Welcome to the forum Martin! I was probably the one who posted your video and I want to thank you for taking your time and your efforts in creating that video review so the rest of us can benefit from your experience and opinions on the unit when we are considering a purchase. Truly appreciate your efforts!
Cupti is definitely an interesting & attractive unit, however it has not lived up to my expectations as a replacement for Nebox. Perhaps I will reconsider that opinion after the release of the CLRBA if its performance can somehow transform Cupti in my eyes. Even a redesign of the CLOCC coils for more airflow could save it in my eyes, but there is just too much restriction in them for my tastes. I just don't want to work that hard to get an adequate hit.
Thanks again!
I don't disagree that Cupti does provide a certain level of flavor, but I do believe it is somewhat muted and the restriction evident in the CLOCC coils makes the experience for airflow and flavor delivery sadly lacking in comparison to Nebox. While it does not leak and I have not had flooding issues, I would much rather tolerate some minor oozing from Nebox When I charge it upright and neglect vaping off the juice expansion while the battery heats the tank & expands the juice in exchange for the flavor, airflow, capacity, and vape quality I receive in relation to Cupti. Thanks, and yeah I especially hope to find a solution when there is an issue like these coils are having.
Oddly the Cupti for me is the closest to the Nebox, along with the Toptanks, as for vapor quality. I did find something which helped with the leak issues with the Nebox, which was using the square shaped OCC coils originally with the Subtank series.
THAT being said, I did retire the Nebox, and after it sat for some weeks, it did leak again from the bottom, but for a period of time it did not leak while I was using the OCC coil in there.
Interesting you also hadn't primed the coil, it seems there may be a relation there, or like you said, juice trapped in the cotton creating a barrier.
Well hopefully we give some people help with their mods that are having that annoying spitback. I saw some comments where people were pretty upset at the hot e-juice hitting the back of their throat, or just not being able to enjoy their new device![]()
