Just got a Crown 3 yesterday and I have to say I'm impressed with it. I didn't think they could improve upon the 1 and 2 but they did. The flavor is much better with the 3. My only complaint about it is it has a little bit of a whistle thru the air flow slots. I can't comment on coil longevity yet but the reviews I seen sound good. :thumb:

I´ve got problems with the new Crown III. Tastes not as good as it should be. Dont know what im doing wrong but tryed different coils and different flavours. And its always the same: Tastes like im vaping base with too little aroma. If i vape the liquids in a TFV8 it tastes more "intensive". Tryed the Wattage from 35 to 100...Anyone here with the same problems ?

My brother and I just got the crown three today at a local shop for 35 after tax. I've been eyeing this tank since the reviewers started pushing their videos out. I'm very impressed so far. I was sceptical about reviewers staying there was no break in period for the coils but there honestly wasn't. It was kinda strange but in a good way. The airflow is smoother but slightly more restricted than the tf-series of tanks but I'm pleased with that as well. I'll have to report back on coil life but reviewers are all saying 2 weeks give or take. Super stoked I was able to find one without ordering online. The fit and finish is top notch and the coils are easy to change with the plug system they are using. I find flavor to be on par with my big baby beast. The fill method, coil changing method, airflow and fit and finish is better than the big baby

I picked one up, love it so far but whenever I fill it it leaks into the base. Doesn't matter if I close the air flow holes or leave it open it still floods out a bit of juice. Might be overfilling it that's causing it possible I'll try next time to keep the level below the glass at the top of the tank next fill and see what happens.

My current daily driver is the Smok Baby Beast. Which I really really love but I work 3-12 hr shifts and I'm having to refill at work. Can the crown make it a full day. What wattage are you on and which coil. I've always been a .4 - .5 guy for a tad more taste over clouds. I don't have experience with the big baby like you were comparing it too. I run my baby beast at 38 watts with the 0.4 ohm coil and it's perfect for me. Does Crowns coil wattage recommendations seem accurate or are they on the high side like alot of companies do. Like a cool from Smok will say like 50-100 but run best at 40. Just to give an example. I'm fairly new to vaping, about 6-7 weeks in. Just want that happy medium of mid wattage sub ohm DL with good taste that lasts all day.

I have found that what some consider the be the utmost greatest to suck the big one and what others feel is sub-par I find to be amazing. Back to the old Subjective aspect of opinions and tastes.

Like Smoks coils. You could have a .4 ohm coil 10 people swear by and say the others are horrible, than have a another coil that is the exact opposite in opinion. These mods, juices, are really really opinionated/subjective.

i vape my baby beast .4 at about 35 to 40 watts
my uwell crown i vape .5 at 50-55 watts.
I like the uwell crown better for flavor... looking to get the uwell crown 3

If the crown 3 performs better than the crown and has flavor I'm definitely going to get it. Big capacity, sub ohm, DL, mid wattage is all I want

The crown 3 does perform better than the crown 1 for sure. However, it takes more wattage to do so. If you consider mod-wattage 40-60. The crown needs at least 70 with the .5 coils and at least 90 with the 0.25 coils

I've been using the .5 coil at 70 watts and a tank easily lasts all day.

so what is YOUR opinion on the crown 3 lol? thats what were here for , to share opinions...not drop philosophy on us lol

damn, i was hoping this wasnt true. site recommends 70-80w for .5 coils....my mod only goes to 60w and i just bought it.... anyone vaping at 60w or under with good results?

70-80w for a .5 coil seems VERY high

Well since there always has to be a negative Nancy... Here we go..

I got it 3 days ago, and have gone thru 3 fill ups per each coil. using only one juice, ( and its my ADV that has a ton of flavor, and probably I'm guessing Sweetener ) regardless, I know how it should taste, in tanks from a Nautilus Mini at 12 watts , to a TFV12 at 200 watts. With a Cleito , cleito 120, BB, BBB , and Tobecco super tank mini all in the mix

To me here's why I don't like it

- IMO the threads aren't smooth by any means, although the overall build quality is good

- Either coil makes the tank pretty dang warm at anything over 70 watts.. Like really warm

- Flavor is muted and the more I mess with the wattage going above 90 watts , the more muted it gets

- Im getting alot of spitback after every fill of the tank. ( And yes I refill when the tank and liquid are cool, as well as closed airslots

I know everyone is different, and likes a different thing.. But when i get similar flavor with every other tank I mentioned above, but not this one, I really feel like I threw $40 out the window.

Let me just add the biggest reason I got this tank was it's amazing reviews.. well... Not to me.. after trying another ejuice in the past hour with less sweetener , but yet still a ton of flavor, it once again is muted .. on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the amount of flavor I get on my other tanks, this is a 5-6.. I really don't know if it's a fluke, or if I'm just much happier elsewhere.. hardly thought a $16 super tank mini would blow this thing out of the water in every way, except maybe vapor production.
