Looking for any opinions on a nice creme de menthe. Which brand do you prefer, and how do you use it? Also, how do you you use it and at what percentage?

I'm assuming the name is fairly descriptive, a mellow creamy mint. I'm hoping to mix this stand-alone with maybe a bit of sweetener, but your suggestions and/or recipes are very appreciated.
Thanks!

I use Flavor West at 12%. I originally used 15%, but like a little less now that my taste buds have returned. It's cool, sweet mint (no menthol, but still cool on the exhale). It's not slap-you-upside-the-head mint - it's mellow, like the liqueur, and pretty darned good all by itself.

I like to add chocolate to make Andes Mint (using FA Chocolate, but others will do) or those green "Springtime Oreos" (using FW Double Dutch Chocolate).

You could Google " creme de menthe cocktail recipes " for drink-inspired ideas. Creme de Menthe plus Irish Cream and extra cream makes a drink called Irish Eyes, which I like. The white and green versions of the liqueur taste the same, so this flavoring will work for recipes that use either. Creme de menthe is an in-a-pinch substitute for peppermint schnapps, so you could look at drink recipes that use it, too.

(edit: I have a sweet tooth, but I don't find it necessary to add any sweetener to FW's Creme de Menthe)

I have both but have yet to use them since I have so many other mints. But something to consider is the LA has a green tint as they use Yellow 5 and Blue in it. Some people don't want dye in their juice and some people crave color as they believe it impacts the flavor. So if you want to be as safe as possible avoid any LA flavors with coloring other then LA Naturals which are made from real fruit extracts.
