hey does anyone know of any mods that utilize the CR123 or CR123A batteries?

i was going thru some stuff awhile ago and found a whole handful of brand new CR123 and CR123A protected rechargable batteries and charger and i dont have a thing to use them in anymore. i used to use them in a weapons sight i had but no longer own . bought these in bulk just in case i needed them then got rid of the sight.

would be nice to find a mod i could paste together ( sort of like buying the ego-t mod control head and an extra evic tube as a backup) or buy as a whole i could use the batteries in. if you know of anything let me know

Yeah most of the older/original mods that took 16340's will take CR123s are they are dimensionally the same. BTW CR123'S are non-rechargeable and should be labeled RCR123's if rechargeable and are 3.0v instead of 3.7v nominal like a 16340 Li-ion(Li-CoO). Original GGTB's, GLV2, Super-t Precise, etc will take 2 for 6v vaping. You could use 2 of them + a vapesafe and possibly a kick since CR123's generally do not come in the 'protected' style. I would stick with mech based mods of the gen 1 era. You can also run them in mech based mods that take 18350's though you may need a spacer magnet and they may rattle in the tube. I just put a couple wraps of masking tape to fatten then up. In an 18350 mod it'd be extra space for the vape safe and/or kick modules.
