I have been vaping a little over a month and the phlegm is still coming up. It is now almost clear. Very thick and like glue. As long as you are feeling better, that is the key. If you have any concerns, go see your physician. He/or she will probably turn back flips that you have made the decision to stop smoking.

I was told by a physiscan about 10 years ago to let him know when I wanted to quit smoking so that he could start me on a round of antibiotics as he felt I would be more at risk for a lung infection, so a short trip to the Dr. might not hurt. However, the advice I was given was a while ago but it can't hurt :)

hey i was a pretty light smoker... only half-a-pack ish on & off for maybe 3-4 years. with vaping, my lungs seem to have decreased lung capacity, I do feel like a might be coughing a bit more than before, and I feel a heaviness in my chest that I do not remember feeling w/ smoking. has any of you lighter smokers experienced that when switching & do you guys think something in the e-juice could be messing with my lungs? Do you think eliminating PG or VG would make a difference?

I guess it's just kind of scary because some of the super heavy smoker say that they vape like 3mL of e-juice, and I feel like I am vaping a ton more stuff into my lungs than when I smoked.
