Both of these things may seem ......ed, I'm in my first month of vaping and two peculiar things are happening.

!) I have what appears to be water droplets or condensation droplets on the walls of my tank. Accompanied by almost a hazy look. I've cleaned and dried the tank and coil head as well as just replacing the coil head with a new, dry one. Still, I get the same effect after the first day or so.

!) When this happens, as my tank gets lower I inhale what feels almost like a wet vape. Almost like the sensation of actual liquid being inhaled. Or really heavy, wet vapor. Obviously, since it tastes horrible and causes me to choke or cough, I'm curious what the cause is.

U maybe getting liquid in your mouth, and U would know that nasty taste right away..its not uncommon with bottom filler type clesaromizers when they liquid gets too low, same with the condesation..but I'm not familiar with that Halon which I think is a top filler carto...maybe try keeping the juice level higher or the holes in the carto are too many or too big (defective carto?)...sorry i couldn't help more..

You might be having flooding issues. Condensation builds up in drip tips, and can add to the fluid in mouth issue. I like to rinse my drip tips and dry them out a couple times a day. If your tank is flooding: unscrew it, grab a paper towel, hold it over the threads...and blow! When the gurgling is gone it should be good to go :)

I found this in another thread about Tritons, maybe it will help...post #52 of this thread... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/halo/401641-triton-tanks.html

Here is another tip, take off the top mouth piece and look for any condensation of juice on top of wick assembly and sides that sticks up near the air hole, any of these droplets can affect vaping quality, dab them off along whole area with a tissue periodically and also wipe out your mouthpiece inside. Vaper condensates inside and lets those droplets form at top of wick assembly. It is a common clearo tank problem, you have to clean those off so they don't mess up the vape quality. Then put top mouthpiece back on just until you feel it a bit snug but not tight. It should vape great again with a fresh fill. Also if any juice gets in the air hole you will get burning or no hit, so blow out gently from to time to be sure it is clear. Clearos are fiddly, but this one is less fiddly than most :) bnrk

They are T2 style tanks, long wick coils.

Basically condensation does build up, especially when chain-vaping; the top of the clearomizer will also get hot.

make certain your coil assembly is tight inside the tank; sometimes when refilling, just unscrewing the mouthpiece will unscrew the coil assembly. Also check and tighten the coil assembly when needed. These tanks will randomly "spit" drops of e-liquid, especially if they are tilted during a draw. Also when tanks get low, you need to tilt and swirl the tank before drawing on it to assist with wicking.

If gurgling or condensation happen, unscrew the mouthpiece off, wipe the coil assembly top off with a tissue and roll a little piece into the center hole to absorb a bit of moisture, remove, replace mouthpiece and it should be fine.

Most of the condensation is from chain-vaping. We all do it. I do it all the time. And yes, occassionally I'll get some spitting of liquid into my mouth/throat. It happens, but I can live with it.

Does the tank stay cloudy, even when you wash it? If so, it's the juice and, that juice should be in a glass or metal tank. Some juices are what we call tank crackers. Not all actually crack the plastic tanks but, they do at least degrade the plastic quickly and, clouding is the first warning of having a tank cracker in a plastic tank - some do actually break the tank in a matter of an hour or less and, the rare few do it in minutes.

First, I have noticed the droplets at the top of the coil and normally dry it before recapping. I however was often forgetting to dry out the inside of the mouthpiece.

As for chain vaping, I do often chain vape but hold my fingers around the top of the device to make sure it doesn't get too hot. I usually take like 8 second drags so if I chain vape I try to remember not to "overheat?" the coil and what not.

As for burnt taste, I clean/replace coils often and try not to overheat the coil and get that condensed burnt liquid at the top of the wick.

As for a cloudy tank often, I use Halo - Kringle's Curse mostly and it is supposed to be quality liquid though the liquid does seem to be cloudy itself. It almost looks as though there are a ....load of little air bubbles in the liquid.
