Coil Rebuild: BCC to BVC

Do you think it would be possible to build a BVC inside one of the BCC coil casings for my generic clearomizer? I know how to rebuild BCCs, BDCs, and BVCs. I could totally switch them up, right?... as long as I pay attention to ohms 'n stuff? What say y'all?

I tried making vertical coils inside protanks, and inside my first kayfun;

found it not worth the trouble.

getting the wicking right on the kayfun was a more important consideration;; also....... I'm finding it best to orient a coil in whatever way happens to line up neatly with the screwdown posts instead of trying to decide to mount the coil vertical or horizontal............ because of hotlegs...... don't want to have a long leg going from the coil wraps to the screw posts


But if one uses the nr-r-nr type prewelded coils, then one could orient the coil without worrying about hot legs. I suppose

I built a few vertical coils. I used the original kanger dual coil, the tricky part is connecting one leg to the top of the body and pushing the cap down to get a connection they didn't seem to work that well.

I saw a video of a guy turning a Protank 3 BDC into a BVC in like 2 minutes. As far as I can tell, if there's room in the casing for it, then you can probably do it.

Before I went to rebuildables, I rebuilt all my Kanger and Aspire coils into BVCs

Now, I do my rebuildables the same way. Really isn't that hard

I make all my aspire bdc coils into bvc. I drill out the holes slightly and build it like I would otherwise.
