Planning to do Quad Coil Build on rda, What is the total ohms from 4 coils should i except?
what is total ohms per coil?

planing to use this wire
$6.80 Authentic UD Ni80 + Kanthal A1 Coiled Heating Wire for Rebuildable Atomizers - 26/32 AWG / 0.4mm/0.2mm / 5m (15 feet) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Flavor wise comparing Quad coils, Dual coils and single coil please?

is it safe to do it with Wismec Rx200 and LG HG2 Battery. Note this going to be my first RDA Build!!

Any advice on Wicking and avoiding leakage ? recommended wattage?

it is true as more coils = less Ohms and less ohms + higher wattage = better flavors?

Never done a quad coil before but a quick estimation would prob be in the sub 0.3 ohm range. Assuming u build 1ohm on each coil u would get 0.25 total, 0.8 on each coil would yield 0.2, etc

The rx200 with lg hg2 should have no problem handling your set up.

Assuming ure single coils are the same resistance yes more coils = less ohms (divide single coil ohm by how many cools yields total) = more power needed to heat up the coils. Does it mean more flavor? I honestly don't know. I can barely tell the difference between a single build 0.8 and a dual 0.8.

One this for sure. Ure battery life will suffer.

I got a sub ohm tank for ADV, this build if i did it going to be occassionally.

Thanks for answering my question but i need an opinion regarding flavor wise how it is going to perfrom comparing to single and dual coils?

any opinions about this wire?

The resistance you can expect depends on the coils you build. Assuming all your coils are the same value, the total will be the value of one coil divided by the number of coils. I think you're going to have trouble fitting quad Claptons in a 22mm atty and come up with reasonable resistance; and wicking them is going to be a bear. Might go in a Velocity, using double barrel coils. With a 4post design, I think I'd use an M or "inverted camel" wick. You're going to have to throw a lot of watts at it, too, if you want reasonable ramp time. Of course, with the RX, you'll have lots of watts available.

In general, the build you contemplate is normally intended for cloud, not flavor. You're going to need a big deck and chamber to fit it in, and a lot of air to make it work without burning your wick. This is generally the opposite of what you want for flavor. The number of coils doesn't have much to with flavor in general. it's about surface thermal flux and ratio of vapor to air. You could probably get decent flavor on a quad build if you used something like a Plume Veil and built 2.5 or 3 ohm coils to get total resistance up around .7ish, but that means 30 or 32ga slick coils.

I have never used composite NiCr/KA1 Claptons, so I can't comment on that.

Thanks! you were very informative!

Flavor wise Which RDA should i shoot for. currently planning to get today one of those: 1. Tsunami 2. Wotofo Sapor

or if there is another you recommend that got good ventilation.

Sins of good RDA is (correct me if i am wrong): 1. top air flow to prevent leaking from bottom 2. enough deck and two posts for coils ?

I would like a particular opinion about Wotofo Sapor and builds for it also.

Thank you very much you for being so kind.

The Sapor is one of my favorites. It's excellent for flavor built about .7ish and the air half closed. Or put in a .5 build and open the air for cloud. That'd be my top recommendation.
