Coffee & Flavor

Had one of those 'Duh!' moments a day or so ago... I prefer, and vape, mostly tobacco flavors, but enjoy a fruity flavor now and again... I also drink quite a bit of coffee with cream in it...

A couple days ago I noticed the Ecto I was vaping tasted muted after a few vapes... Thought maybe I'd just hit it too hard and it'd gotten a little too hot... Put it aside and went back to vaping my 'baccy the rest of the day...

Picked up the Ecto the next day, before I had any coffee, and it tasted fine again... Then I went out and got myself a cup of coffee with cream... Ah-ha! Right back to the muted flavor! Tried a couple other fruity types with the same result -- muted/off taste... But the tobacco still tasted fine...

So, my conclusion is that coffee with cream is probably the culprit... Just a word to the wise -- YMMV!!

Got to have my coffee in the am. I do tobacco the flavors so luckily I haven't ran into that problem.

Menthol I find goes best with coffee, my morning menthol chain vape session with my first coffee of the day is awesome. Menthol really compliments the coffee's wake up effect and cuts right through the flavor and comes through excellently

Yeah, drinking coffee will do that to mostflavors. I agree with Hotwire about menthol going best with coffee because it has that extra bite that stands out.

Seriously, I mostly vape fruit flavors, and coffee does have that effect. I just deal with it, or vape a bakery flavor if I have one handy.
