I found this super creepy french video. Evidently, he doesn't speak or like Cloupor's slidey back.

Check out the hideous fingernails and the sounds of what seems to be animals and tied up people in the background.

that door is REALLY bothering him,lol

I had an old Cloupor 30w I was happy with when the first mini came out I was going to jump all over it, then they started to catch fire. Think I'll wait and see how this one does.

Cloupor mini 30 is still one of the best 30w mads you can get. An Extremely small portion of a single batch got defective(maybe wrong)I.C. chips. the remaining 9000+ in that batch were fine. NO other batches have been effected.

I have one of the Batch #2 mini 30w

Small update:

I put a 430 SS coil in a Kraken clone, 9-10 wraps at around 3mm diameter. came out to 1.0 Ohms.

Put the Mini+ in TI mode, 250F.

Seems to work ok so far, Gonna drain the tank and see if the Temp protection kicks in, Probably tomorrow.

Nice vape either way.

The back on mine seems pretty good, doesnt come of that easy. Maybe they fixed that before sending out the later batches? I have not used mine much either,so maybe it will get like that.
Mine came with extra magnets. The back stays on really well. No issues with the mod at all, I've been using it daily for almost 2 weeks.

Got mine today, took it to work and it was fine for 4-5 hours then stopped working. Had to pull the battery to get it to turn on again. Thinking maybe I should use a button top?
Probably need to wipe the contacts with alcohol. May be a bit of unseen oxidation from crossing the Great Blue Seas.

Well..............People do stupid things.
Battery LOOKS to be an AWT = 18.2mm already over diameter, then he takes a File to the Frame. Mod fit Ruined:facepalm:

Little secrets:
Don't play with doors and they stay put
Don't shake Mods and the buttons won't Rattle

Maybe it makes a difference how some folks hold and fire the mod, I've got large mitts, and found the cover to shift with just the slightest pressure from my thumb. Not a dealbreaker for me, I prefer function over form so:

I put a tape hinge on mine. easy peasy, flips open with a thumbnail, makes a nice resounding clunk when flipping the door shut. Rock solid.

Maybe the magnets just need to get switched out to heftier ones? Have no idea what size they are (don't have one yet), but FT et al sells magnets that are designated as "super strong."

They are recessed so replacements would have to be identical size.

After a couple of weeks I have learned to live with the clicky door but, -2 points on my rating of it. It appears to be a rather simple fix with a couple of set dimples.

BTW I started another thread here in TC on this device after I received my prize. I'll abandon that one and lets continue on with this thread as it seems to be more popular (and was here first :) ).

Very funny. :D:D:D I am SO that kind of guy. For the sake of my mental health, I think I'll skip this mod.

Seriously, I've had this mod for two weeks. After all the times I've grabbed it out of my pocket or backpack, the door has never been an issue. It only moves around when I play with it.

    Like a Zippo ;)

There is a very easy fix to the rattling door problem.
Take thin electric Tape and apply on the sides of the door near the corners.
1 layer at a time until the door won't shut, then take out the last layer.
You'll find that the door stops moving. I learned this fix from an owner of the Cloupor Mini when I posted my problem on another thread.

I found it so annoying on my Cloupor GT 80 that I was about to sell it on the Classifieds when I tried this and it worked.
I'm not good at crafts but I'm sure others can make it look prettier then my attempt.

Maybe Zippo will start to make Mods?? They'll need something for income as smoking dies off.

    I'd buy 1 :)

There's a little subculture of Zippo mods, mostly cartos. A few commercial like this.

And a number of homemade mods like this.
