Hey guys if i was to use the cloupor mini 30 watt regulated device with an efest imr 18650 35a
battery am i safe? will the cloupor see any overheating of the battery if it were to happen? or will it see if the ohms are too low? the lowest ohms i plan on using is .8 possibly .6 but i just wanted to know how safe is this device? also i am aware of the recall on this i will be doing the "too hot" test on it. thanks for your replys!

Regulated Mods control power output.
They have built in control of the Battery.
They will not fire of the battery gets to low.
They will not fire if the ohms are to low.
They are inherently safer than a Mechanical mod for inexperienced users. - They think for you

Efest does NOT sell a TRUE 35a Battery they are 20a continuous at best. They should work fine in the Cloupor mini with a 30w limit.

Honestly, I know nothing about the Clouper mod.

However, you should know that the purple Efest 18650 IMR 2500mAh 35 amp battery is actually a re-wrapped LG 18650HE2 2500mAh 20 amps continuous battery. Efest chose to advertise the "pulse" amps and not the more traditional "continuous" amp rating to push up sales.

It can still be used down to 0.6 ohms. Just a FYI.

okay thanks alot guys and im not saying i will but if i was to go lower than .6 the regulated mod would detect that and not fire?
The protection circuitry will prohibit the processor from firing an atomizer which exceeds its amp limit. I don't know the amp limit of your mods processor, so I don't know at what point the safety features will kick in.

Cloupor may have, and I stress MAY have, been able to run test on returned/stopped/pulled defective Chips. This would have helped in diagnosing the issue and established a functional test for units in the field.
Yes the unit is supposed to stop firing at 15 sec.
No the unit should not register to hot within the 15 sec. test - perhaps some of the Defects Did.

Best of luck with your purchase.
