A big factor when it comes to clones, is making sure it doesnt come from China unless it is a very high quality manufacturer. Many Chinese clones contain plain nickel mixed into the alloy, which has been proven to contain small amounts of lead. You definitely do not want to vape these for any extended period.

Im glad to hear there are people enjoying clones, I would like to know which are the best, espcecially the best box mod clone (PM me info if you have this info I would greatly appreciate it). But I see a lot of posts bashing authentic mods/attys while the truth is, they usually are quite a bit better and are a much safer buy. I wouldnt spend the money for a hana or Reo though even if I could afford it. My thing is quality metals that conduct electricity better and quality machining to allow for the current to travel. I dont want to have to soak all the parts in Noalox.

When it comes to a Reo, theres something out there that is original and twice as good for half the price. It has a juice hole(sorta) but is completely unique and uses a plunger system to automatically wet the wick in a dripper style atty that comes with it. And the materials used is 3x better than a Reo. Its called a Jessy and I would suggest everybody try to get their hands on one. Its epic :vapor: And no, I dont sell them, I am just a extremely happy owner of two of them and wish to spread the good news.

I'm intrigued! But my google foo must be out of whack today. All I'm finding so far is a tube mod from 2011* and something called an autobot by Jessy Tech.

Got link?

* and some Steel Jan videos showing one. I miss her videos

Good point about the potential of toxic whatever in the metals, I'm no metallurgist so testing is to some degree out of most peoples realm of possibility.

But let's say your third hand clone kills you, you knew it was a clone but the dillrod that cuts you up to figure out what did you in has no clue. So the report goes died of acute lead poisoning secondary to using an Atmomixani Dome e-cigarette device found to contain lead parts.

That is another issue with clones that may or may not ever happen, but it remains an issue.

Ah, thanks PoM.

The Compass ADS by Jessy is a neat concept, though its not for me. It just seems too big for its 4ml capacity. I tend to like the smaller form factor of the Reo or OliveR with their 6ml bottles and the smaller/higher capacity tanks for my tube mods - for now :)
