Change it to .3 - .23 ohm and gently strum the coils with a small Flathead to get an .5 sec even glow, from there your going to have to adjust your airflow to accommodate the heat, @ 80 - 100 watts the two post decks (velocity style), should be a fog machine with 2 - 3 sec pulls, are you using ... pad cotton ?

I'll look into this when i get home, and yes i use the Japanese cotton pad, i also use the Scottish Roll technique i found on youtube.

I literally cant enjoy vaping without claptons now.

Im running a 34awg/26awg dual build in a griffin right now at .47 ohms at 60 watts and it chucks a hot vape with 1/3 airflow.

Griffin is overrated for flavor but its a decent vape.

You have Tapatalk on your phone? It lets you record a quick video and upload. lets see your coil glow prior to wicking

I got my first Clapton to work !
I did a 7 Wrap Single 3mm Stainless Steel 32+26 gauge Clapton, which came out to 0.51 ohms. I set the watts at 85 and the Temp at 550 F. The flavor is amazing and the vapor is as big if not bigger then some of my dual twisted kanthal 0.25 builds, that flavor though is amazing! The temp works perfect on it, doesn't burn the Scott Roll wicking technique i put in it. I plan to do a kanthal 32+26 clapton duals on my Velocity this weekend.

80 watts? Put some power on them man.

You think i should increase my watts on my single SS Clapton thats 0.51 past 80 - 85 watts in TC? or........

Are you referring to my dual 0.40 Clapton's i made, because if so, I actually un-wicked them and did the "tap / bump" method mentioned to me in this post and noticed a few more hot spots which i fixed and then re-wicked and instead of 80-85 watts i put it up to 110 watts and flavor city! and those dense clouds bro...
