Chapstick/Lipstick flavor

Now that I have your attention...

I'm not looking for that flavor I have just found that flavor in juices from two different vendors (mango margarita from gourmet vapes and several apple flavors from madvapes). I didn't taste it in apple pie from velvet vapors.

Is there a way to tell if this aftertaste is going to be in a juice? For example, if it is in the 4 fruits I have tried from madvapes, will it be in all fruits from them? Isn't something about a particular kind of base? How do I know which vendors will and will not have this flavor/aftertaste without ordering from them and possibly being disappointed?

I don't think it's a fake sweetener aftertaste because I like the vanilla and coffee flavors.

You're in the right place... I assumed your thread title meant you were searching for a chapstick/lipstick flavor, thought "Well, that's odd" and clicked on it.

If your speaking about the base that they use to make their juices. Than the best defense in order to avoid this, is to get 3ml samples of whatever you wanna try. If you don't like it, then toss it. If you do like what your tasting than order a bigger bottle.

I have a feeling that it may be the vg you are tasting. I've tried straight vg w/no flavor and now that you mention it it rings a bell(never could put my finger on it). Are your pg/vg ratios different in the ones your okay with? Could be some flavors mask that taste better than others.

I don't think it's the base or the vg. I say this because 1) I like other flavors from these same companies and 2) all of my juices are either 100%PG or 80/20 PG/VG. I almost wonder if it is the fruit flavoring that these two companies use (although I don't know what that is).

The chapstick/lipstick taste is only noticeable on the exhale. The inhale is great. I probably would have assumed that I didn't like all fruit flavors, but I got a sample of Apple Pie from Velvet Vapors that didn't have this taste on the exhale.

Can someone tell me if there is a common flavoring that maybe madvapes and gourmet vapors uses that velvet vapors doesn't? I haven't been vaping long enough to know all the ins and outs of flavoring agents.

Propylene Glycol is used in Blistex as a moisturizer. Now chapstick has a different flavor than say Carmex which is mostly beeswax. I am thinking if you try a larger ratio of VG the chapstick or blistex flavor may be reduced?

Vapor Bomb has great fruit flavors that are more like fruit and less like fruit flavor candy. I tried one of the juices you mentioned and didn't care for them either. Plus the color of the juice was bizarre. All of their juice regardless of flavor was a weird orange/pink color.
