CASAA is considering whether to have copies of the Tri-Fold brochure "The Facts about Electronic Cigarettes (E-Cigarettes)" professionally printed for order from the CASAA web site. Depending on how many we have printed the costs could range from 50 cents each up to $1.50 each if we order a smaller quantity.

So before we decide how large a batch to order (if any), I'd like to get a feel for whether there are folks out there who would invest in the professionally printed brochures.

As most of you know, if you own a color printer, you can purchase the Tri-fold brochure paper and print your own, using the PDF file that we have available for download on the CASAA Documents page. Approximate cost for the brochure paper is 150 sheets for $25, available at any office supply store. Add to that the cost of the ink cartridges, which varies widely from one printer to another.

Yes, you can print them on less-expensive, ordinary computer printer paper, but the results are not very good. When you print in color on both sides, you need heavier paper to prevent bleed-through; and it is difficult to line up the folds evenly by "eye-balling" where they should go. The tri-fold brochure paper has some bends in the right places.

So, are there those of you out there who would order some copies for distribution in your area, and if so, about how many copies would you need?
