I have been looking into cartomizers for my 510 with soft tips and most that I am finding list as LR, low resistance. Some of the descriptions say not to use these with standard batteries. I do not want to damage my batteries with these, will they damage batteries or passthroughs? If they will, where is a good place to get a cartomizer with a soft tip for the 510?

Thanks

Litecigusa.net has Boge 510 and SLB 510 cartomizers that are not low resistance. I would stick with the standard cartos and avoid the LR cartos, so your overall battery life won't be shortened. A package of five is $7.95 plus $2 shipping fee for orders under $75. They ship from Pennsylvania, if that matters to you. This is where I get all of my cartomizers, including the KR808D-1 cartos that produce even more flavor than the Boge and SLB, but you would need a 510-battery to 808/901-atomizer adapter to use them with your 510 batteries. The best price for any adapter is goodprophets.com at 99 cents each.

I think, because LR's draw more current that battery life would be 20-40% shorter on a 510. They're short enough as it is. You may want to go with a bigger battery or switch to an Ego or similiar.

If you use a 5volt pass through, you'll be fine with reg cartos, believe me, nice kick. If you use a 3.7 volt passthrough (has rechargeable battery)then get an LR carto.

Liquidstix has 1.8 cartos (use with 3.7volts though)
