Hey whats up ppl? Ok so ill start by saying I'm fairly new to the world of DIYing but have dabbled a bit, so far everything Ive made is single flavs using TPA flavs, so far the only one I'm real happy with is the blueberry Candy @20%, once i get close to being ready to make a new batch ima up the % a bit, its good but i want the most flav possible before it turns on me, also any other TPA flav used i find 15-20% is the area to use it in, closer to 20% id say tho. Anyways Ive ordered some more flavs from ecigexpress, Capella, Flav art and Flavor west. I'm trying to find out what the average starting % point is for these fellas? Ive read some are super strong. I'll make a list of the few new ones from Cap/FW/fa i have and if you guys have any experience with them can you plz make it short and sweet by putting the % beside each flav, if you have a nice recipe for them id be grateful, also I'm sure others would be too. I know some devices give certain juices different tastes so if it helps I'm currently using a VVG/ERA/TT combo haha.. what i mean by that is i made some BB candy to use on my twist and nova and it was weak in flav but super on my Reo. Cheers and thx ppl :vapor: CAPELLA'S

I'm new to DIY but have found LESS is MORE with some flavors in my opinion before I would ever up my % the juice must steep 5+ days because I have found out steep time is your friend

GOOD LUCK:toast:
Yea this is so true, thats why i would never start at 1% and work my way up lmao, if i did that when starting with TPA it would have taken me 20 weeks lmao.. what Ive learned so far is yes everybody has different tastes but there is a % we can all agree on to start at for certain flavs, like TPA id say for fruity flavs 12% and go up, i like sweet and strong so i start at 15% and tweek sweetness as i go, but as for flav % i know theres a basic start point and am looking for this if anybody has experience.. What device you using on your reo ??

Here's my experience from the 2 years of DIY. Flavourart is my favorite. I start at 1%. The rest of the flavoring companies just need way too much to flavor e liquids. The Chinese flavors are strong, but they're not consistent.

Do you have any general recipes for the FA flavs i said i have? if so what % you use? I'm not necessarily gunna try the same i just like knowing an average %, thats how i started with TPA

FA recommends 3% on the RY4. Are you letting it steep?

From Mario at Vapestock. RY4 3-5% and let it sit for a month. Europeans like their flavours mild. I must say that 5% is the ticket. Juices have to steep. If you are not prepared to do that, IMHO you are wasting your time. Leave the microwave to cooking food and hot water baths to cleanse yourself :)

I do steep my juices, although not for a month when i'm testing the ratio. Almost all FA tobacco flavors go in 1-3%, except for the RY4 in my opinion. At the suggested rate of 3% i hardly tasted anything.
I do like my flavors a bit strong and i know RY4 is in general a mild flavor. But even for a mild one 3% is way too low for me.

A will make a separate batch of 5ml and let it sit for a month, just to see what it does for this juice. In the mean time i'll up the ratio to 12.5% in the next round ;)

Mario was quite amused that I mixed all FA tobaccos above 8%. Up to 5% there was a certain harshness and nothing really started to meld until 6% with the bouquet developing at 8% or better. They were really surprised that I mix Dark Vapure at 13%. They said that is strong, but admitted that the cocoa and coffee flavours are extremely muted in concentrations less than that. They did immediately recognize their Cuban Supreme (mixed at 8%) albeit to strong for them. I took advantage of the poor buggers :) and piocked their brains which they readily shared.

Hey Switched,

I just used one of your little recipes that you posted a while back for buttery nipple (Butterscotch and Irish cream). Good stuff...

whoa Dark Vapure at 13%. That must be very metallic. I pick up the note at 1%. I have read on FA's website when they sell their juice, they mix at 2.5%. I haven't tried it yet.

I've been wanting to try the Dark Vapure but forgot to order it my last go around. Is it a good stand alone?
