Lately I've had this weird sensation in the left side of my face. Feels kind of like a burning, painful "tightness" with a numb/tingly thing happening at the same time. Quite honestly, I feel like it may be either a skin infection or a TMJ related symptom, but i've been vaping a lot and just read how PG can cause "facial numbness."

Can anyone comment on this? I think I'm going to see my doctor this week just to make sure there's nothing fully wrong, but this has got me a bit freaked out.

I think you should go to the doctor first thing Tomorrow! Ive never herd of anybody describing that sort of issue Left side is stroke stuff. I had a friend have a very mild stroke sitting in a ice house right beside me. The left side of his face went slack he kept on drinking went to work for 2 days then had a massive stroke now he is no longer with us.

It could of been prevented if hed of went to the doctor right away. Best not to fool with this sort of thing.

GO SEE A DOCTOR NOW. I had that. Turned out I had 90% of an artery blocked. Only took them seven bleeding months to figure that out and, thankfully, it was more or less easily fixed. Mine was caused by the artery being too close to the collar bone and had a 50 point difference in the BP between the left and right arm. You could feel the pulse wasn't as strong on the right as the left. That may not be the same for you. Please, just go to the doctor.

Also, I'm only 28 years old. I don't think anyone has ever had a stroke at that age.

My Buddy was 30 and strong as an ox, and died at 32 He had 2 years of a very not so good existence after the massive stroke those of us close to him were not sad to see him go he was miserable.

I hope its not for your sake but none the less your face going numb is not happening just because. This sort of thing is a symptom of something else. Could be something minor but your body is trying to tell you something best to get to those who know what its sayen.

I'm glad you are listening. Have it checked out, it's nothing to mess around with. Far better to be safe than dead. Please do let us know what you find out and good luck with the appointment. We're rooting for you. :)

I would play better safe than sorry and get off of the computer and have your significant other drive you to the closest emergency room. If no significant other is available, I would dial 911. I would not risk being on the road and possibly having an episode that leaves you stranded out in the weather. 28 is the same age a dear friend of mine had a massive brain embolism break loose and dropped him at his desk while he was studying for some tests. Don't take a chance, go get checked.
