Ok, I'm trying to make a Vertical Wick for my Kanger T2. I drip a lot using a T2 and was planning on building a wick going straight up and down, to be able to hold more liquid and to make a bigger wick with a larger surface area to produce more vapor, More Vapor, MORE VAPOR - sorry, as opposed to the coils being wrapped around the Wick sitting flat on it's side?

I was to use a Cotton Wick that is twisted onto itself once. But Since I'm running the wick and Coil vertically, straight up and down, One end of the Coil's wire is going to be at the very top of the wick.

My solution if I can do it... Run the wire that wraps around to the top of the wick and run it down through the center of the Wick.

Essentially before I twist up the Cotton Wick onto itself I want to run wire through the Center of the Wick and Coil so I can attach the top end to the Negative or Positive side of the battery. The wire will come out the top of the Wick and I will wrap this end around the wick - the coil of course which I will connect to the opposite Terminal, negative or positive.

Can this be done before I even try it?

Magnetism won't have any bearing would it. Does a magnetic field get generated when we run power through the Coil?

Thank you

why don't you just wrap 1mm wick around your chosen length of resistance wire? you can always use some non resistive wire to connect the ends of the resistive wire to simplify things if you need to. So with 1mm wire coiled around your resistive wire would it not be more efficient than if it was on the surface of the wick? Perhaps & perhaps not as you would need to try it to assess the vapour production. You may also need to use a higher voltage so testing is best done on a VV device for this.

Good luck
