Can anyone help point me in the right direction of a good high quality mech for tanks?

Hey everyone! Been awhile since I've been on here, hope everyone has been well. I'm looking to add one more device to my collection, a nice mech tube for tanks. I'm really digging the looks and quality of the able mod but I understand this is a hybrid top cap and tanks are not the safest thing to use. But with my understanding, the biggest danger is spring loaded pins. I will be adding the limitless rdta to my collection, and have been told by limitless that it is entirely safe to use on their limitless mod. So, I'm assuming that it would be just fine on the able. Feel free to correct me on that. Pretty much my only wants are a tube 18650 that is in the price range of 100-250 and can safely run my aromamizer v1 and the limitlrss rdta. Cosmetically, I like the limitless mod and able mod for their interchangeable sleeves but that is not a necessity. I just like to customize. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Tanks have been used on mechs for years. :) Sure, now there are a few more things to consider, but blanket statements don't apply.

Using the Limitless RDTA means you will want a mech with at least 24mm diameter and yes, a direct-to-battery connection will be fine. With your budget, there are plenty from which to choose. My own collection contains a Kennedy Roundhouse, Aria Oros v2, Ragnarok, SOI Shorty, Limitless, and Manhattan v1. There are plenty of others, even some that are still a little outside your budget.

With those tanks, you're fine on a hybrid, it's mostly 'clearomizers' or 'subohm tanks' that use premade coilheads, that people mean when they say no tanks on hybrids...but even that isn't absolute, just a good rule of thumb. your two tanks both have protruding 510s, any tube you like'll do you. be safe and respect the equipment.

Thank you for some ideas!! I really like the look of the SOI. This purchase batch will be my last before they start cracking down most likely. I have a blue sx mini ml I got for christmas, so I wanted an equally high quality mechanical to complete my small line up.

The tanks to avoid using on mechs are ones that require prebuilt coil heads.

I use a Bellus tank on my Abel mod, however the Bellus has an adjustable center contact.

My advice?

Go for a GP.

Yes it has a spring loaded (fully serviceable) pin.
I regularly build around .2 ohms and the GPin performs flawlessly.
One of the best switch assembly's available.
Build quality is awesome. Customer service is on point.

Wow. That looks absolutely amazing. Does it actually come with an atomizer? It mentioned something about an airflow control ring, or is this just for bottom airflow atomizers?

I think they offer an atomizer with some models, but they are mostly MTL attys.
Most models have slots in the topcap that helps atomizers with 510 aiflow.

You won't find many unhappy GP owners.
Top quality mods. They also dont break the bank.
