I have a certain E-juice (Cappuccino flavor) that i adore but it causes my tongue to turn brown. I assume it's because of the coloring/dye in the liquid. Funny, the liquid is only a very translucent brown and not real dark. But, if it's coating your tongue then it's coating your lungs. I haven't coughed up any brown stuff but still....I think I'm going to steer towards clear liquids. It may cause me to start DIY on E-juice. But I have a lot of commercial stuff to vape first.

Anyone else get tongue staining?

Come to think of it, it may not be E-juice at all, but all this tea I have been drinking while vaping. LOL. I'm going to try water for a while and see what happens.

I used to vape colored liquids, but now I stay mostly with the clear or light light colors like banana cream or something but.....Thats just what I like, not really because anyone says so, just some of the darker liquids seem to, idk, just never tasted like what I wanted or thought it should taste like...But we all know how diff taste can be......

I hear ya bro! But did you ever consider all the crazy things we eat? Few people have access to fresh home grown food. Now its all genetically modified wheat, irradiated meat and vegetables, with lots of pesticides, preservatives, coloring, and synthetic taste added. Mmmmm Mmmm good!
Throw in all the medicines we take, chemicals our products are made out of, and funky radiation such cell towers, microwaves, and x-rays, and we are hardly living the 'Good clean simple life".

Most of it has low toxicity. But, I'm convinced that it would eventually kill us all, in a 100 years. Good thing we don't live long enough to experience all the side effects of modern living.

In the grand scheme of things, vaping is probably less harmful than a cheesburger! Just saying...

Probably right, but this goes into our lungs... So maybe an expert's interpretation on this could be reassuring...

Look up 'hairy tongue' on wiki or google - it isn't necessarily any flavoring. I think some of it is the desiccant aspects of PG and VG - drink lots of fluids and it doesn't happen.

I agree for the most part. But, our digestive system is designed to digest food no matter how 'rough' it might be. Our lungs on the other hand were not meant to handle flavorings from PG/VG vapor...lol. Our lungs were made to take in AIR and thats all.

BTW Kent C... I find your signature pic great...
1. Where is it from...?
2. Would you mind if I borrowed this as my signature pic as well? Feel free to say no for you may wish to keep this as a personal exlcusive 'identifying' pic, and I could totally understand... Maybe I wouldnt like 'lending' one myself... But consider it would be both because I find it fascinating and due to the fact it would be a kinda homage to an expert from whose posts Ive learnt a lot...

(Sorry for the double post, made a mistake...)
(Sorry for the 'off-topic', my bad...)

PS: This pic would also be a match and very illustrating in connection with my motto... Take this into account, heee!

I made the picture in photoshop from the opening scene from MadMen TV show. I'd prefer it to be exclusive to me but the 'fair use' on copyright is what allows me to use it even though I 'made it my own'. I appreciate the comments - thanks.

No problem...

I have my own signature pic... It is an image from Boston Legal featuring Denny and Alan in their 'smoke ritual'... It is modified with Photoshop but I cannot seem to include this for the message that the image is not compatible or something displays whenever I try to upload this...

How come? I thought this extension would be all right; would you know which files are OK?

BTW: I thought I had seen the man from your pic somewhere; that was it Mad Men TV... Its great!

EDIT: I could finally include the file; I had forgotten saving this 'for the web' in the photoshop...
Here it is... But after many hours spent trying different things and considering different versions I ended up so 'dizzy' I now wouldnt know whether I love it and looks exactly 'perfect' or I hate this and is a very ....ty pseudo-art thing...
