DIY juice is not Nuclear Science in fact if you follow my links and Recipes its brain dead easy.
The Cost for this Experiment is $20.00.

Depending on how large your purchases the price for a 30ml Bottle of DIY Premium Organic VG E-juice will be around $2.00 to $4.00 depending on the strength of the Nicotine and the size of your purchase of the Nic Base and Flavorings.

Feel Free to post or PM me any questions that you have about DIY.

The other day I made 3 batches in under 15 Miinutes.

The secret is put in the flavorings and the Nicotine Base first, than just fill to the top with VG. You only need to concentrate on the amount of flavorings and the amount of Nicotine Base you add.

No complicated calculators do you know how many times 2 goes into 24? If you can do simple arithmetic and follow my recipe you'll have no problem with strengths.

Two Years ago I developed a PG Allergy, PG left my tongue swollen and irritated and believe it or not irritated my fillings at the same time I figured out it was an allergy so I went to DIY 100% VG and using Artificial Flavors. The allergy didn't completely go away. As a last ditch I went to Organic flavors and tossed all the artificial stuff in the trash.

For two years I've been vaping all organic. I've tried the Organic juice makers and their stuff tastes weak and sickly to me.

Below is my recipe and method for making my own ejuice. 100% VG Organic. Note I like Savory flavors and most of my flavors work well at a 20 Percent combination [6 ml per 30ml bottle]. I don't like fruits but if you use Fruit flavors they are highly concentrated, so you may end up using 1/2 or 1/4 of the amount of flavoring that I use below. Just substitute any of the 3 Everclear 95% Alcohol, Vodka, or Water for the missing ml of flavors. If you don't then the liquid could come out too thick.

The Equipment
1. 30 ML Bottles. Why make life difficult just get 30ml bottles and follow my recipe without having to do any mathematics. High Desert Vapes sells them for 75 Cents a piece. I dont' care if plastic or glass unless you are using something caustic like Cinammon. The Plastic is more convenient. High Desert Vapes sells both very reasonably.

By the way, I like clear bottles in the glass. I bought Blue ones one time and hate them because it's hard to see. Either my Juice is kept in my pocket or in a drawer or vaped so quick it doesn't matter if the glass is clear. There really is no need for colored bottles and they are hard to see through. [My opinion]
30mL PE Sealed Cap Bottle - High Desert Vapes
30mL Clear Glass Dropper Bottle

2. a Large dropper
Get a large Dropper 100% VG Nicotine Base is thick you need a big dropper.
Dropper (Plastic) w/graduated markings

3. Two 1/2 full Cups of filtered water. Coffee Mugs, any type of cup will do just fill it up to around 1/2 to 3/4 the height of the dropper.
Used to wash out the droppers at my workspace. I use the right cup for the first washing. Than I use the second cup to fill Dropper with water and shake and push out into the first one. This avoids cross contamination of the ingredients. This method is simple and works. You don't have to be a perfectionist.

3. Organic VG
My favorite is
Miscellaneous Bulk Ingredients from Mountain Rose Herbs
But High Desert Vapes sells regular VG at
PG / VG

My opinion is that all VG is not the same and I love the Mountain Rose Organic, but for convenience you could buy everything at once at High Desert Vapes and keep it simple.

4. Organic Flavorings
Natures Flavors is the best place for Organic Flavors. Warning though ship time sucks. They claim that they want to sell only fresh product so nothing is sitting on the shelves waiting to go. An order can ship in a week or in a month. If you are .... Retentive or want quick service then buy at High Desert Vapes . They have less selection but ship quick and in smaller Qty
The listing at Natures Flavors is "Organic Flavors for flavoring Coffee", or "Organic flavors for flavoring tea"

As repeated from above if you want to purchase at the same price as NF and get it quicker and/or in smaller Qty to try High Desert Vapes they ship quickly
Organic Orange Flavor Extract

Links at Natures Flavors
Flavor for Coffee | Flavors | Flavors
Organic Flavor for Tea | Organic Flavors | Flavors
They only sell in 1 ounce bottles or above, so it's expensive to experiment.

5. Nic Base
I like Wizard Labs which can be purchased directly from Wizard Labs or from High Desert vapes
Wizard Labs 60mg Nic Base
I buy 100mg myself but since you are beginning let's stick with 60mg which Wizard Sells.

The Recipe
DIY is not rocket science. I want you to remember this magic rule. When using 60mg Nicotine BAse in a 30ml bottle. Every 1ml of 60mg base is equal to 2mg of nicotines strength for the final mixture. So if I want to make a 6MG Strength, I use 3 ml of 60mg Nic base. If I wanted 18mg Strength than I'd use 9ml.

Normally you need 20% or 6ml of flavoring or water or PGA to get the correct Viscosity. Not too thick.

Using flavorings, the key is to have a top note and a bottom note. For example I'm currently vaping my secret recipe now made available to the world! For liquid I use 5ml of Organic Peppermint and 1 ml of Caramel Cream. No need for water, if you are using all of the links above this will turn out perfect.

DIY NOW

Step 1. I add 6ml [Total] of flavoring to the 30ml bottle. For this recipe it will be 5ml of Organic Peppermint flavor and 1ml of Caramel Cream The last milliliter can be either combination of 1 or two flavors depending the mood. Remember to rinse out your Dropper between flavors and before the next step
For this recipe [Secret Until Now
5 ml of Peppermint
Organic Orange Flavor Extract
1 ml of Organic Caramel Cream*
Organic Caramel Cream Flavor Extract

*Organic Caramel Cream is one of my secret weapons it seems to mellow out just about any flavor and give a soft edge.

Step 2. I add my 60MG Nicotine Base. 1ml for every 2mg of Final Batch Strength. So if you want 6mg strength just add 3 ml of 60mg Base or if you want a 18mg Strength 9 ml will do it. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to do this. Just devide your final strength by 2 and you have the ML of 60 MG Base that you'll use

I use 100mg myself but many think that it's too strong to handle or keep around the house. If you are not comfortable with the 100mg don't worry the 60mg works fine. If you are using the 60mg base than ignore the chart below. KISS

Below is the chart which tells you how many Mg your final mixture will be per Ml of Base that you put in a 30ml bottle. Just in case you have a different strength Nicotine Base on Hand
1. 100mg Nicotine Base is 3.33 mg per ml
2. 60MG Nicotine Base 2 mg per ml
3 48mg Nicotine Base 1.6mg per ml
4 36mg Nicotine Base 1.2 mg per ml
5 24mg Nicotine Base .8mg per ml

Step 3 Fill to the top with your VG. I just pour it straight from the VG Bottle into the 30ml Bottle.
OR you could take VG and PG and mix it and fill your choice but not part of my recipe

Step 4. Seal your 30ml bottle than Shake and Vape.

An interesting thing, many people steep flavors. I've found that with Organic Flavors I've never had the need to steep. It vapes great from day one. In fact sometimes the best flavor is when freshly made.

Thanks for the post! Greatly appreciated!
You are welcome

Three other things I should mention.

1. You could also substitute the 100% VG with a VG/PG mix on both flavoring and Nic Base. But then it wouldn't be organic.

2. You can make it single flavors by using 6 ml of just one flavor instead of 5 + 1. Then you can combine the finished single flavors to experiment.

3. No need for steeping in fact I find it tastes best when freshly blended

Make sure got this straight IQ is higher than 80, that's like 75 points above plant life, cool that works for me...lol
95% or more of the Population should be able to do my Recipe.
A normal individual is 100 with a standard deviation of 15% according to ask.com 95% of the population falls within 70-130 with the standard deviation of 15%. The 80 IQ covers at least 95% of the population.

An intelligence quotient, or IQ, is a score derived from one of several standardized tests designed to assess intelligence. The abbreviation "IQ" comes from the German term Intelligenz-Quotient, originally coined by psychologist William Stern. When current IQ tests are developed, the median raw score of the norming sample is defined as IQ 100 and scores each standard deviation (SD) up or down are defined as 15 IQ points greater or less, although this was not always so historically.[1] By this definition, approximately 95 percent of the population scores an IQ between 70 and 130, which is within two standard deviations of the median.

Damn, mine's 79. So close.
Don't lose heart, the tests have a 15% standard deviation so your IQ could actually be as high as 91 making you a candidate for this recipe.

On the other hand it could be as low as 67 in which case you should continue to buy pre-made Juice.

Kitty it's a great calculator.
By the way if you plug my numbers into your calculator using 20% flavors than you'll find it's a match.

My apologies if I made it seem too complicated below is the simplified version of the post:

Following the Recipe you can make a 30ml batch without a calculator. The only mathematics involved is dividing the nicotine strength you like in half. For Example if you like 18mg strength you'll use 9ml of 60mg base.

Use a 30ml bottle
Use 6 ml of total flavorings [including water, pga, vodka if using more concentrated flavoring]
Use 60mg nicotine in the ratio tha 1 ml = 2mg for final strength Example if you like 6mg strength liquid than use 3ml, if you like 12mg liquid than use 6ml, if you like 18mg liquid than use 9ml.....
Fill the rest to the top with VG Or PG or combo

I feel I've left those who like PG out.

On Part 3 of my post you can substitute a mixture of VG and PG for the Below.
Pg can be bought at High Desert Vapes USP Kosher Proplyene Glycol (PG)

I'd suggest that you start out with:

If you are using organic flavors then you should be fine with 70-80% PG and Remainder VG

If you are using artificial flavors in a PG base then 50% to 60% Pg and Remainder VG should be fine.

Hello
I like to mix 1250ml at a time then add flavorings as I mix my 30 ml bottles this cuts the cost way down and I can get the high end flavors that I really like .i add 100ml distill water to the mix
I end up with 1400ml of juice for 75.00 this is good I think
All USP kosher Vg there's a little Pg in some of the flavors but 90% of the time I use organic .
