Blue light won't turn off?

I have a little ego 650 battery, its genuine and not a fake, but the other night I put it on my Vivi Nova, the blue power light came on and won't go off. I let the battery run out thinking that when I connect it to the charger it would sort itself out, I connected it to the charger and the light turned blue again and won't turn off even when disconnected from the charger. The 5 click does not work any more. Its permanently stuck to on.

I loved that little battery as it seemed to pack more kick that than my 1100mah batteries, even my ego twist.

Kinda like the ol' Windows Blue screen of Death. How long had you had the thing?

Thump the switch like you'd do to someone's cold ear (hold your middle finger back with your thumb, put a lot of tension on it, then let it go). That'll sometimes free the fire button up.

The battery is dead, one way or another. You do have backups for your backups, right?

I've had it almost a year now, Sure I have backups, I have half a dozen ego batteries, but this little thing did have more kick than the rest of my batteries, sure the others lasted longer but this little one give a better throat hit. Plus I liked the compact size.

Again, a sad, sad event but in the Grand Scheme o' the Circle of Life it would seem that little battery gave its all.
With kerchief at hand and a smile for the good times, it is time to let it go to its just reward.
