I recently put a fused clapton in that same setup and I get about twice as much clouds.. gets ridiculous and its honestly almost annoying to use in public even though I'm vaping on "Mega Melons" by cuttwood which smells delicious and people should enjoy the smell of it I dont know how they couldn't. I see the vapor drift through and people obviously getting annoyed, but this is my style of vape.. I try to just take a drag when no ones around. Any of you guys get some funny looks when blowing clouds? Some of them are compliments, mostly by either drunk people or teenagers or mid twentiers being like damn how do you get that much smoke!? as they smoke on their tootle puffers.

I don't purposely try to create big clouds, especially out in public. I just take discreet hits if outside of my truck before going out to a public area. I do build low as that's just what I prefer, but keep my juice to a 50/50 blend and that helps with flavor and a somewhat lower quantity of cloud production. There are vastly more people who wouldn't appreciate having to walk though massive clouds than people who would admire such a thing.

I sort of keep the clouds to a minimum not sure why I'm doing nothing wrong.

At work I blow big clouds in the smokers area and everyone's like errr

The worst is when a smoker will complain of too much vapor on my end.. even though theirs stinks and is awful smelling... and mine smells like a cantaloupe.

Hard to articulate my thoughts on that but when I think of anyone doing that in public a few words that come to mind are obnoxious, rude, inconsiderate, unnecessary, ridiculous, attention-starved, and childish.

I can definitely see both sides, Hey if I wasn't a vaper and knew nothing about it I'd probably be annoyed by it too. I try to blow it up so it just kind of goes with the wind and goes upwards.. I'm 6'1 so it usually floats over people, but if you were 5'6 that could be a problem.

Not everyone likes the smell of cantaloupe. I prefer the freshly lit cigarette smell. Stale cig smoke is nasty but so is stale cantaloupe.

I would never blow clouds where others are. It just seems too much. I love vaping and agree it's a much better aroma than cigarettes, but I honestly wouldn't want anything blown at me. I vape in my house, in my car, walking from my car to wherever I'm going, but I respect people's personal space.

The more obnoxious people become with vaping and invading other people's space the more states and cities/towns start doing their own regulations. Blowing huge clouds into a crown of people will only turn them more against it. Many are uneducated about it and you blowing clouds around them just make them agree with the FDA and their redgulations.

That's a vaping style?
Looks like posing to me. I have been known to be wrong.

I have a setup for that for home use, but out in public my setups never do that. Even as a vaper, it's obnoxious to see that in public. I'd rather be a tootle puffer in public than a "cloud chaser" in public. Honestly, it's to the point where I'd rather see and smell someone smoke a cigarette than blow a big cloud in public while walking around.

If you notice 3ebmike, your clouds do not go over peoples heads, they sink down. In fact, if you were 5'6" and blew straight out or even down a bit, you would be less obtrusive with your clouds since the clouds sink pretty quick. Just as tastes are subjective, so are odors. Be considerate to your fellow human.

OP, this rant is NOT aimed at you... I just wanted to get something off my chest that is in the same line as your post. Please dont think Im going after you here...

I vape, but that doesn't mean I wanna walk through someones clouds and inhale them. A guy where I work had a hexohm box with a twisted messes RDA outside this morning and was fogging up the area near the doors. Some form of a ry4 that he mixed himself. He was so impressed with himself. now I have been vaping at this building for over a month, but I normally head to the smoking area, or just shut the door to the security Office where I work to vape. People have never had an issue with me. But when one of the VP's came in he was ...... because he had to walk through that fog. I had to go out and tell him he couldn't do it near the entrance. He tried to argue with me that he wasn't smoking and therefore was perfectly fine, and that his RY4 smelled better than a cig did. I had him walk away from the building so we could talk, got out by the smoking area and I casually pulled out my IPV4 with my TFV4 mounted and hook a nice long hit... and then explained that I had been vaping with no problems for a while here with no issues because I'm respectful of others. That he had managed to piss off the VP of the facility, and that the VP was thinking about banning vaping on the premises because of having to walk through the fog near the main doors. I don't think this guy understood at all. He was still indignant that he was doing nothing wrong, that he was vaping not smoking and therefore could do it wherever he wanted to. And how his DIY smelled so good to everyone. Personally I thought it stunk and was NOTHING i would ever want to try. I tried to explain that to him, that not everyone likes the smell of vape, and he got mad at me and said I was just jealous of him mixing his own juice.

When i got back to my office the VP was waiting for me. He has now set a new policy that no one can Vape unless they are in a designated smoking area. I dont have a leg to stand on, as this is private property owned and controlled by the Company i work for. He isnt banning it, but he will not tolerate what he saw this morning. and since I am the Security Supervisor it is partly up to me and my officers to enforce this new regulation.

Some people just dont get it. we sit on this forum and rant and rave about the FDA trying to crack down on vaping... we get all up in arms about the public perception when some jack-wagon does something stupid and blows up his mod and how that gives the media something else to try to hammer us collectively for. and then we have this percentage of vapers that simply have no respect for others. Just because you think something smells good does not mean it is the same for everyone. I loved my Cigars and my pipes. I thought they smelled freaking GREAT. but other didn't. Now to me I think my vape smells great, but I know some don't. I simply keep my clouds for when Im alone, or in an area where I know it is ok. If I am in public I have a small tootle puffer rig that I use, but even then I use it sparingly when around other people. If im in a store that does not allow smoking, why would I think i could vape there either? People that are admittedly uninformed will see vaping in places like that and automatically public perception swings against us. we have enough hurdles to overcome without creating even more.

Seems to be a few threads like this lately. If it's somewhere where smoking is not allowed or frowned upon, I don't vape there.

I predict this thread will end well. I'll take the under at 4 pages for the lock.

I don't care how you or anyone else vapes. Just do it respectfully. Not everyone wants to gag on your melon scented clouds. I like to toss fog on occasion but, like most things, there is a time and place. It shouldn't require a lot of mental exercise to figure out when and where.

A very nice story here.. Be considerate of others if you want them to be considerate of you. That's the way it works. It doesn't matter at what wattage, ohms, style, or whatever you vape at.

I call total bul.... on the "it smells better" argument. It's really simple guys - subohm tanks and devices produce much more vapour than a regular cigarette, it's annoying, period. It doesn't really matter if you vape or not, I get annoyed when I smoke at home and the room gets so foggy that you can't see anything or the air feels heavy. I mean come on @OP ripped his fire alarm so it doesn't go off when he vapes, and some people are still going to say that they can't imagine how that can be annoying? I do love the smell, but that doesn't help when you can't see your TV and as said our sense of smell like everything is very subjective - what can be a very sweet and nice aroma to one, can make another feel sick.

All Hail the mighty Vapor King! The peak of human achievement has been met!
You should take the show on the road and demonstrate your wonderful Cloud talent at schools and children's hospitals, old age homes and sporting events, and other crowded venues. It will be awesome!!!
