I had thought to come here, to speak to this family of vapers, and tell you a story of woe and frustration. But as the words had time to percolate and the embers of anger to cool I decided to share a slightly different story.

On January 18, 2011 I stopped smoking. After nearly 20 years I am no longer panicked because I don’t have a pack of cigarettes on hand. That was the day my Bloog arrived. I charged the batteries while I played with the Pass-Thru, amazed by the smoke-like vapor. Unlike my previous experience with an e-cig, I had found something that could be a true replacement for my “trusty friend”, the monkey on my back.

From that day, to this, the Bloog has performed flawlessly for me. When the cravings clawed at my hand, my mouth, my mind the Bloog was there to provide me with a safer, cleaner, tastier alternative.

For that I will always be thankful. And it is that gratitude that changed my attitude.

Yes, Bloog is running out of stock of key items, items we all seem to want, and this is causing endless issues with their fulfillment process.

Yes, they don’t always communicate the information they should or we want, when we want it.

And right now there is a package on the way to me and they can’t even tell me definitively what I can expect to find when I open it.

BUT (and I have fewer of those in my life of late, though there always seems to be one) they have not stopped trying to help me and resolve the issues with my order. Their concern for my situation, my frustration is genuine. Mike of Bloog called later to tell me that he and his company would do whatever it took to make it right. He gave me his cell number, to call him directly when my order arrived, so I could let him know what steps, if any, would be necessary to settle accounts.

Though my order was screwed up, and they owned up to that, though I was venting my frustration faster that some super-fly mod makes vapor, every member of Bloog that I spoke to was working to solve my problem, their problem.

While they ain’t perfect I believe they are trying like hell to deliver a quality product as quickly and effectively as they can. And oddly enough their biggest stumbling block appears to be their amazing and sudden success.

So, if you are troubled by the stories you are hearing about delayed orders and out of stock items, I would tell you what I decided. I trust ‘em.

I trust that Bloog will provide me with a high quality alternative to cigarettes.

I trust that Bloog will do everything it can to make good on its promises to me as a customer.

I trust that Bloog is not trying to screw me over and that mistakes are the product of a scale of business that far exceeded their expectations or projections and they are working to overcome this issue.

And I trust that the new customer service representative that first spoke to me will eventually forgive me for being a ....ty human being.

I would like to applaud that well written piece from Gardner808. I know that I forget what the company must be going through in the fast growing process. After reading his statements and re-reading some of the other entries on this Forum, Watching Toni and Leaford defend a product that they believe in, I read them in a different light. A light that Gardner provided. I sensed a frustration from them that they wanted to help but they didn't have all the answers. Thank you Toni and Leaford for taking time out of your duties and providing what answers you do give.

Though I must own that as the situation with my order developed I did go from frustrated to super ...... and poured forth my vitriol upon that CS rep with a vengeance. And she was as kind and honest and helpful as she could have been under the circumstances.

It wasn't until hours later that I remembered that the only thing I could control was myself. That was when I reviewed the conversations and the course of events and decided I did trust them to do the right thing and I really liked their product.

You changed your avatar pic, didn't you Gardner? I mean if you had a Green Lantern avatar and the name Gardner, I'd habe noticed that the first time, rght?

Sounds to me like you had alittle Red Lantern blood to puke up before you could react like yourself again.;)

(If that doesn't make sense to anyone, you obviously need to read more comics!) :laugh:

I love Bloog! Admittedly, I followed Leaford here and was kind of shocked at the prices compared to *the other place* but decided to give them a try anyway. I haven't looked back...I love the cartos and the batts are awesome! I've only had a problem with the passthru not working and have been too busy to contact anyone about it. I've gotten several people to join the Bloog bandwagon and I'm sure there will be others.

I love my bloog. It has gotten me off of analogs for good. Two week tonight. The cartos rock. They last and the ability to refill them is priceless.

I think that we (and I include myself in this) lack patience. When something goes wrong with our orders or something is backordered, we think about buying a pack of analogs again and ruining our success and we panic. I've had my share of the bloog blues too. It took two weeks to get my part of my order to me, the rest of it should be here sometime next week. It's mostly bad luck I think and these thing happen. And Ashley in CS put up with my repeated calls to figure out my order, was very patient with me, and worked hard to make things right. And really, the bottom line is that their product is great and it was worth every minute of the wait. I'm confident that they will work everything out. Now keep those blanks coming! The way those things are selling you'd think that carto filler is becoming the new world currency.

I too have been frustrated and somewhat lacking in the patience department. Customer service was very profesional when dealing with me and my problems. This is my first e-cig and I am very pleased with this product so much so that as soon as they are back in I will be ordering my wife an ultimate starter kit. I do hope they work everything out. Amazing product !!!!

I got a bit frustrated when I didn't get a confirmation email upon ordering. It scared me a little; I had just given my CC info to a company recommended on an internet forum, and that's not always the best idea.

But, they fulfilled the order just fine, and when I had a major issue with my PCC not charging batteries, Leaford was here offering suggestions. Thankfully it worked itself out (I still don't know what the issue was), and I'm this close to being done with analogs. I wasn't even close with both a 510 kit and an eGo kit.

I think I read a post from PapaBloog (then some others agreeing with him) that this battery was an improvement over similar ones and the MaxxFusion cartomizers were next to impossible to burn. I hesitated to order for several days at first, mainly because of the slightly higher price. But decided what the heck, and I am so glad I did. In the big picture, what's a couple bucks?

I haven't yet experienced any of the shortages or problems with orders. Everyone here was quick to answer my questions. It's all been good. Every good thing I read was true. Love the battery and the RY4 tastes great! Hopefully we'll be able to buy the juice soon too.

I'm still new at all this, just got my first PV at Christmas, then the Bloog a month later. After nearly 40 years of smoking, and a few failed attempts to quit, I had my last on 1/20/11, and this wonderful product played a part in that. Thank you!

Thanks everyone, and thanks especially for your patience as we get through our growing pains. When I joined Bloog, I was very surprised at how small they were. As one of the earliest entrants to the cartomizer market, I honestly expected them to be much larger. My #1 job was to raise sales, but I told them clearly that I could not and would not do that by overhyping a product that didn't deserve it. I had to deliver them a product I really could honestly promote first. Having done that, the growth in sales followed naturally, and now we're struggling to keep up. So again, thanks for your understanding.

Beerluvr, don't worry about it, we all have those moments. Especially if we're a bit on edge from trying to quit cigs, right?

Starsong, congratulations on your continued success. And Frick, relax, you'll get there. It's not a race to abstinence, and in fact it doesn't have to be about abstinence at all. Just cutting down, especially if you've gone from a pack or two to just a few a day, has real measurable health benefits.

Thanks, Leaford. You're absolutely right, and I never thought I'd be down to a couple or three a day after such a short time. But I will get rid of analogs; I'm already grossed out by them, it's just a pain to give them up entirely. And I already taste and smell things a lot more strongly, don't cough for two hours in the morning, and can climb stairs a lot easier without being as winded. That in itself makes it worth it to vape instead of smoking. :)

Honestly, I credit my success so far to the BMF. 510 attys on eGo batteries (the most-suggested newbie PV here and elsewhere) wasn't doing it for me, or I wouldn't have bothered. The BMF gives a warmer vape that's a lot more "cigarette-like", allowing me to go without smoking. I'm recommending it to everyone I can.
